A lovely pattern, especially with yarn that is self-striping. Question: does anyone else have trouble with the finished scarf curling in on itself? The edges pull towards the center on mine, and it spoils the effect.

I made a pair of those socks, it was such a FUN pattern! The only problem is, I don't know what happened to them 😄 guess I'll have to make another pair. Hugs! 🤗❤

I got into loom knitting and was curious about making blankets on an S loom but I'll stick to my flatbed (i have a Bond so i can bolt extra beds to make larger blankets and not have to piece my sections)

Hi Denise, thank you for this beautiful pattern. Can I ask, could I use this stich for a beanie and if I do, how do I do it?
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat День назад
Hi - you can but this video is only for the flat version of the stitch pattern. You would need to get the written pattern for the round version. Unfortunately, I can not provide a video for the flat and round versions of stitch patterns. I want my followers to have access to these patterns and so even though stitch patterns can sometimes take longer than full projects I only charge $1.99 for 3 versions of this stitch and a chart. Visit Loomahat.store .

What is a ⅝ loom?
@LoomaHat

It's a common large gauge loom - You can get them on eBay, Amazon, local craft stores and my little store. Iloomahat.store/products/loops-and-threads-round-set

@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat 2 дня назад
Hey there ! So, I dont know the pattern by heart but if row 14 is the last row then YES you start back at row 1 and repeat all rows until you get the desired length. In other words 1-14 again and again and again until you get the length you want.

Hi there ! In this pattern I use the eWrap version of the knit stitch. There are several. Here's a post with a video: www.loomahat.com/knit-stitch/
@garretthiel5323
@garretthiel5323 2 дня назад
Why don’t you always use the U-wrap version for almost every project?
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat 2 дня назад
If you mean why do I use the Uwrap 🙂 - because it's a tighter, neater version than the eWrap and quicker and easier than the True and not as tight as the Flat. But more importantly, it 100% depends on the design of what I am wanting to knit, how I want it to look and what I want the fabric to do. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for asking.
@garretthiel5323
@garretthiel5323 2 дня назад
@@LoomaHat Does the eWrap work well on this stitch pattern?
@SarahAloof
@SarahAloof 3 дня назад
I think it would be a lot easier to do this project on 2 knitting needles very row knit, which is called garter stich, because that what it looks like in 2 knitting needles, so I think it should be called the garter stich and the e rap is knitt stich
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat 3 дня назад
Thanks for the advise, I'm sure the intent was to help but this is not needle knitting so what you're saying does not apply here.

@LoomaHat Me too!!! 😁 Typically, I don't go by a pattern or even count my stitches or rows, I just go by the seat of my pants & judge the "size" by eye - a couple times they've been too small, but super cute nonetheless. 😜 *I wish we could share pics on YT* Thx for sharing!! ❤️

Hi Denise, how did you cast on to make it that neat and how would you cast off? Thanks
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat 3 дня назад
Hey Dorothy - I used the Uwrap (eWrap) cast on and the to cast-off I would use the basic. What makes it neat is that I tighten the cast-on stitches. Here's a post you should read www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns

My goodness that is pretty 🥰 Big plus for scarfs is that it's pretty on both sides. 😘I'm adding this to my pattern collection for charity makes. Currently too hot in Florida to work with yarn. 🥵I am working on soap sacks in cotton yarn...something little, you know and non-sweaty cotton yarn 🙂 But....as soon as we get a break in the weather I'm making this. I think in greys or browns this would be nice as a man's scarf. Thanks for the tutorial 🤗

Denise, I have a terrible time with yarn overs. I understand how to do them but have a great deal of difficulty stretching the loop over to the next peg. I am trying to knit looser and unwind the loop but half the time I screw up the entire row trying to put it on the peg. I was looking for a video or something that might give me some help as to what to do, any suggestions? Sandy
@LoomaHat
@LoomaHat День назад
First make sure that you're using the eWrap in the spot where the y/o is because that stitch is the one used for the k2tog. Here's a post with video for just stitches that are too tight in general - not specific to the ktog www.loomahat.com/stitch-is-too-tight/
