Started a new garden to grow vegie's ,I am new to the gardening thing and will learn more as i go hopefully thru some advice from more knowledgeable growers that are willing to give me advice on what works better , from how to prepare the dirt, fertilizing, watering ect...The plants i have growing now seem to be doing pretty decent, most of them. But i know we are never to old to learn new things. So any suggestions are welcome.I hope you all well enjoy and subscribe and help the channel grow besides the plants ! Thank you all for watching. I do have another channel IZZY'S SALT LIFE! which is a kayak fishing channel.Hope you check that one out as well.

I know you are correct. One of the reasons I started getting serious with gardening when i retired so I could keep active doing things and this does keep me busy, enjoyable when things grow right and frustrating when they don't but fun all around and we get to eat some home grown vegie's. I thank you for your sub !
@@izzysgardeninglife7948 my main garden hobby was my rockery with some Himalayan poppies! Took ages to get them to grow but now im getting around 6 or 7 a year!

I am glad it helped. I know how it can be when you open the box and see soooo many parts to put together. Like a puzzle! Thank You for visiting my channel.
They'll keep getting bigger as the season goes on. I'd lay off the watering for awhile. When mine look unhappy in the bed, with yellow leaves, it's always because I'm overwatering. Let the surface level dry completely and then an inch down. After that, give them a little nitrogen fertilizer on the next water. This time of year, they only need water once a week.
I will give that a try. I was having a problem with the serrano and jalapenio peppers last seasons. They would grow well and produce peppers but were not at all hot, this year i stopped watering them as much and they are HOT ! I saw a video on the reason and they said to much water and they were right. Big difference this year. Thank you for the help!
They look great. The lower leaves get old and yellow. That's normal. They just need to be removed. The plants will get bigger as they grow. Beautiful raised bed!
I noticed that the lower leaves were getting yellow and falling off , thought it was starting to die on me or was using the wrong fertilizer for peppers. I will remove them and keep an eye on how they progress. They are producing a good amount of peppers and they are getting bigger. The raised bed are very easy to make, and i am liking the results of how the plants are doing well in them. I do have a video up on how i make them.. Thank you for your advice Dina !
Hi Dina ! I have not had problems with them, yet. but some squash plants grew better then other squash plants, not sure why yet. I used the same mix of soil in them and fertilize the same. I have picked a few pretty good size squash from them and the same with zucchini plants. My broccoli plants are growing ok but it is a constant battle with those green worms ! Roma tomatoes are doing pretty good, so far no disease on them. Some of the tomatoes growing did get i think it's called blossom end rot but just a few. Sorry about your squash plants, were you able to save them? Thank's for stopping by.
@davidkavetsky2377 I bought seeds online, some on Etsy, and some on Baker Creek Seeds. This year, I'm growing Zucchino Rampicante, Luffa, and Seminole pumpkins that are resistant to SVB.
Thank you so much ! I would do a little bit of gardening before but only recently i got serious about it so i am learning as i try new idea's and try to film some of it. I am finding it fun to do and love the feeling when some vegetable grows right because of doing it right finally !LOL! Thanks for the sub !
