Update. I received mine about a week and a half ago, and all i can say is definitely worth the wait. Won the local know your limits match on sunday by a pretty good margine. I have only had time to sight it in with RWS 50 and shot so well, i am pretty sure I am gonna stick with them. At least until my 2 bricks are gone anyway. If you're on the fence about buying one, dont be its well worth it.
Thanks for Coming back to Update. I know it's worth the wait. But geez it's hard shooting the current rig knowing you have a diamond on the way. Thanks David
I look forward to all of these Winners Circle interviews. Thank you Phil for dedicating your time to this. There is so much useful information for those of us that are new to the PRS sport.
I like the question about shooters personal vision, something I've wondered too. 20/20 vision, corrective lenses, astigmatism etc. That would be a good question for top shooters on Precision Rifle Blog.
The comments regarding helping new shooters in one day matches apparently isn’t embraced by the PRS upper echelon. PRS letter as of this week reiterates there is absolutely no “on the clock” help allowed in one day or two day matches
Order mine in February. I'm hoping it ships any day now. Anybody run RWS 50 ? I know they typically like Eley but I have 4 bricks of RWS. I don't mind switching, but it sure would be nice to keep what I have.
10 weeks here Waiting on mine. Im in awe, PHENOMENAL performance!! That showcase just renewed my patience a bit. Woukd uou consider making a video on what you found to work as far as tuning?
Great kit, great shooting... now can I get one in the UK.....? I can get a CZ457 barreled action with 20" MPA match barrel. I would use a MDT Oryx chassis.... guess they would be very similar?
Man, that tacticam is interesting. Looks like you pulled 3, maybe 4 shots in a row starting at 4:45. Not criticizing as I bet we'd all be surprised under the camera, more so just a great training tool.
Do you realize that distance on that KYL rack was 100 yards - shooting a rimfire? The rifle is incredibly accurate, but being able to clean that plate rack, with a rimfire at that distance, is not a gimme. The best shooters in the country would clean it 25-33% of the time. Heck, the last target is the same size as the bullet (.250" vs .220"). So not really any of the shots were pulled. Just shot displacement due to the ammo and distance. But the TriggerCam (not tacticam) is a great training tool. The triggercam shows where you were aiming through the reticle. That is valuable info. I did make mistakes in that video for sure, but the rifle overcame some of my challenges.
I'm already looking forward to my Matrix Pro chassis with accessories, which I ordered in 2023. I can hardly wait any longer. I hope that Accuracy & Speed has finally ordered the stuff from you. Best regards from Switzerland.
