@@Funkymonk2K lol i remember back in the day i used to use the demo version as well, i had the same problem. You should try using autogun for some beats, i know whitearmor used to use that a lot, you usually need to put a lot of reverb on it to make it sound good tho. Also, you should try to learn some scales for making melodies. A scale is basically a group of notes that you can use, that sound good together, so when you make a beat in a scale you generally don't want to use any notes that are not in the scale. I usually use a minor (which is just all the white keys), or e minor, but it doesn't really matter what scale you use :)
