While virtual tours and slide shows set to movement (Ken Burns) have been around for what seems forever, the concept of the real estate agent playing a central role in the video is a new one. Oh, the critter problems! Living at the base of rhe McDowell Mts assures the buyer they will not be sleeping well knowing what lurks outside. Trust me on that. As someone who herped those mountains, the amount of scorpions, tarantulas, rattlesnakes, etc, will be more than you can shake a stick at. Not a good place to build!
Don't move to the desert if you don't like poisonous snakes spiders and scorpions... Or dust. Nothing worse than people who move to the desert and complain about the dust and critters.. Those people should stay in the paved concrete city
I've been shooting real estate since 2018 after I left tv prod. And this "debate" is very simple. It's about the demographic, vertical is for children and they are not buying houses! Real estate demands and furthermore it's common sense that we use a wide angle lens to capture homes correctly. Not to compromise our quality or integrity for childish platforms. I will never shoot real estate like an ignorant tourist to kowtow to some stupid ideology. Tell these simpletons to turn their phones sideways. Enough of this nonsense. 🙄

Just walked through this home today. It’s completely gutted on the interior. No walls, no marble flooring, no doors, no hallways, it was completely empty… i could barely make out what once was the movie theatre, I could tell by the concrete steps along each side of the room. It’s very cool to see this video of the home when it was once an actual home. It’s a beautiful masterpiece. I can only imagine what it was like to live in this home or grow up in this home as a kid. What is the difference between Video and Virtual Tour? Also, if I put in the link for a RU-vid video, does the video play on another player or is it just referencing the RU-vid Video?
Just saw this, Virtual tour is the traditional photos set to motion with Ken Burns in between each image. Video is full motion video, or at least it is to us. Sorry about the delay of 3 years :-(
How do I get this HTML code so that I can load my DJI Osmo 3-Axis Gimbal 4K SteadyCam so I don't have to mess with RU-vid? I want to be able to load just my original video.
Just saw this, sorry. The video has to be loaded to a platform like Vimeo, RU-vid is not supported by most MLS, or rather it is but because of the external links, it can result in fine for the agent. Sorry about the delay of 3 years :-(
