Great video!!! the nano's are catching in numbers here at NDRC. "Terrific little plank" Waiting on our invite mate! Absolutely Thank you walksnail keep the goodness coming.
Not much for response huh? You happen to find any info out on this? I keep looking and looking for real world numbers. Also wondering how long before you have to replace the cat on one. Also keep wondering what happens if they decide to stop making the cats if you can make them yourself easily or what you have to do.
@@jackle842000 I’ve heard 20 hr burn times but not many BTU’s when burning that low. Good for the Spring and Fall months but you’ll have to burn hotter in colder weather. The cat should last 10,000 to 12,000 hours according to manufacture but Blaze King has a 10 year warranty on them. It’s a pretty complicated process making the cat I doubt you could make one.
@@jackle842000 depends on the type of cat. The new steel cats have smaller cells than the ceramic cats so they do tend to plug with ash quicker. It’s a good idea to brush them off about once every cord of wood burned. As far as life of the cat goes I don’t think it makes much difference between air settings but overfiring the cat over 1600 degrees can decrease life as well as wet wood and leaky door gaskets. I also heard Blaze King has a new cat in the works that lasts much longer than the usual 10-15k hours.
Thinking about buy this. I have a 4runner (5th gen) and has a small steel bumper on there (not a full length bumper that runs the length of the car, it's one of the smaller ones that's just in the middle of the bumper - kind of like a bull bar but it's a real bumper with an area for a winch). Was going to ask if you mounted yours behind your bumper like I'm going to have to do. Does it fit? Heard you mention you'll have to mount the solenoid somewhere else. Thanks man.
Hi. I'm running BFG'S on my 2008 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. I also installed 1inch spacers on all 4 wheels. I have a 3 inch lift on the rear and a 4 1/4 inch lift on the front. When I turn left or right , it feels like the tires are being dragged. Should I remove the spacers? I'm still using 17 inch stock aluminum wheels.
Very easy. colors go together and the small black wire off the solenoid box goes to the ground on the bottom of the winch. The remotes worked right out of the box. So far so good.
Hi do you have a build video / showcase your drone video for this? I would like to build this exact setup since its the best of all worlds imo. Any help is appreciated thanks! :)
It looks to me you could have used spacer disks that would have kept the wheels away from there that's what I did years ago on my ford 4x4 ranger I was running mickey thompson's 33" incher's very wide tires they were.
It was a tire shop screw up, they got the right offset about a week latter. I don't like bandaids for fixes which i would consider what a wheel spacer is.
Thanks for posting. I'm trying to decide what offset and backspacing I should get for my 15. Did you ever get a chance to test the travel and see if and where they rub?
If you are going to be Off-roading and flexing I'd add the longer brake lines, you will need longer shock regardless if you lift the back. I called 4wheelparts and talked to them and they sent me the correct length shocks. Highly recommend the Bilstein or fox, but you can get even more expensive if you want.
No the being tail heavy is so much of a problem that I parted it out. I think it would be fine with a 30cc or something of that that weight. It's a heavy plane mine was 11.9lb RTF, way to heavy for a DLE 20cc for anything other than scale flying.
Thank you for your response. I recently finished mine, left out everything that could add even a gram. No switches except ignition kill, lightweight lipo's, no choke servo and took out the pilot and excess wood. Have to weigh it, who knows until it flies. Thank's again, here's my assembly vid. Peace. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GVDaCk_tK90.html
Nice flying, just bought the same one. May I ask, did you have a problem with it being tail heavy? I see the pilot is gone, my one clue. Will it hover and does it have a good climb rate with that engine? It looks like it moves out very well, impressive. Just debating between a Evolution 33cc or the DLE 20RA. Saw on some older threads about the tail heavy. This looked very recent and I was wondering if in the newer kits, this problem was rectified. I will be grateful for your input, thanx bro.
