Sadly this is never gonna happen again . The two kings of blues together , smiling and living the blues together ....I`ll never get tired of this . The blues will live forever !!! 🥰😗😁
Albert is trying to lay back and play real blues and Moore is up there playing as fast and loud as possible and completely ruining the vibe of the band. And desicrating Peter Greens guitar…
albert king is less fast than gary moore but touches my heart more hen he plays the blues i mean gary is more a heavy metal guitar player he can play the blues don t get me wrong but not like albert or freddy king or eric clapton! they re able to play less fast and better

Two true heros having fun. May be not the very best performance of both, but I want to see it every day. Gary seems to me as a large goblin in good mood.
Gary is more skilled at making sounds that are clean and pronounced on his guitar, but Jimmy page is more creative than any guitar player ever. I agree, page is sloppy, even on his albums, that the recording studios have a chance to clean them up. on the first Led Zeppelin album, I ever got back in the 60s, good times bad times, I have heard just the track of his guitar playing in that song, not that good, pretty sloppy, but I don’t love his music because he’s perfect. I feel it. it’s like Joe Bonamassa, I don’t hear him making any mistakes most of the time if not all the time but jimmy page will come up with a rhythm for a song like when the Levee breaks, he gives it time to develop, to draw you into that driving guitar sound.. I love that song more than hearing Gary here do Olympic grade contortions on his guitar, Jimmy page comes up with these mystical, sounding, licks like, in the evening, that song is haunting because of his guitar in that song.. similar to Eric Clapton before he became a strummer.. Clapton I consider the inventor of modern electric guitar, rock ‘n’ roll music. That one lick made him millions in, sunshine of your love.. it’s not that hard,, it’s a simple song, but that blaring riff has supernatural power, it sets your mood.. it cuts through. I would nominate sunshine of your love is the best riff ever.. it’s loud, it’s over, bearing, it’s distorted, it’s perfect.. but I think the most creative guitar player, especially at making introductions to songs, is Keith, Richard, just about everybody that listens to rock ‘n’ roll from the 60s when the stones first exploded on the scene, just about anybody knows the song just buy as few as one note. Who doesn’t know just buy one note the beginning of satisfaction… Who doesn’t know just by three notes the beginning of start me up or paint it black or can’t you hear me knocking? no, the Rolling Stones music is not as broad styled as Led Zeppelin. The stones music is more closely top 40 type music, dance music, like AC/DC or ZZ Top… I like the Rolling Stones music I always have, but I love Led Zeppelin. It gets in your veins.
If Gary Moore had done anything but play like Gary Moore, it would have been patronizing. Everyone know that Gary Moore was a an all great but this style of blues is what Albert invented. Albert did with his fingers what Gary did with a Marshall.
Wow!! I had never heard of Gary Moore before today. He was a fantastic guitar player and after seeing him trade licks with the legendary guitarist Albert King he's definitely one of the greatest guitar players I've ever seen. R.I.P to them both🔥🔥
Reading Gary’s bio. Interesting to note that gary had said he hated playing in a flat. Albert shouted at him at the start that that’s what they were going to play in 😂
While the immaterial "Who is better: comparisons continue let's remember that the blueprint for modern guitarists wouldn't even exist without blues pioneers like Albert King/ particularly SRV who was 100% influenced by him/ it's always easier to imitate than to innovate !!!###
That was truly wonderful. Music is not about competition as to who is the best because there is no answer. To me this illustrated how a really gifted Garry Moore played tribute to his roots and how much he enjoyed playing with one of his influences. Gary was not just a blues player but did some fantastic work with John Hiseman and Colliseum.
I couldn’t agree more, he was a truly gifted unassuming musician who always paid respect to his roots. I was lucky enough to see him play with John Hisemans Colliseum which showed his true versality. Playing any instrument is not a competition, great music is not just being flashy and playing fast. I would give an example of Joni Mitchell.
