No more jitters, no more crashes, no more caffeine addiction. Artisanal Japanese matcha green tea that helps you become more aware so you can effortlessly do what you need to do!
I used to really like Rishi ceremonial matcha, it’s super affordable and tasted good. Idk if the quality has gone down, or my tastebuds have changed, but it’s awful now ☹️
@Angelas.Eye_ Their ceremonial grade is not available on their website currently. Do you know a trustworthy place to purchase it? I have tried their Everyday Matcha brand and I thought it was okay. I would like to try their ceremonial matcha.
i use the one by wefood and even though it looks stale it still tastes really good though im sure the higher quality greener matcha tastes even better.
Meh. The word "ceremonial" should be enough to denote that matcha did/does have a cultural purpose beyond making green lattes. Not unless you were gonna host actual Japanese tea ceremony, why spend the extra just to dilute it in milk ☹️
Nope. "Ceremonial" grade isn't a real thing. Rhe truth is that these grades don’t exist, at least not in any meaningful way. The companies assign these terms. They are more of a very light guideline. matcha is generally thought of in three rough tiers of increasing quality: keiko, usucha, and koicha. Keiko grade is used for practice and lessons, usucha is used for serving thin tea to guests, and koicha for serving thick tea. Confusingly, all three of these very different teas would likely fall under the umbrella of ‘ceremonial grade’ outside of Japan. These are what you should focus on. Not the vague grades that differ from company and site
Interesting! I always use honey to sweeten my matcha lattés, but I'll definitely give maple a go. All I have is the dark, "robust" kind (formerly known as Grade B) though, so maybe that would overwhelm the more delictae flavors of the matcha.... 🤔 Anyone tried it?
I tried the dark maple with Rishi’s everyday single origin organic matcha in a latte and it was good. I have also tried simple syrup with vanilla both were good. I am new to the make your own matcha thing though.
Just buy them separately, though for the matcha I recommend getting the good stuff. Not just a ceremonial marketing term. MK’s Isuzu matcha is a good start for the price.
It’s probably not even matcha but powered sencha, much cheaper product sold because there aren’t labelling laws outside Japan on matcha. Buy direct from Japan to ensure you get real matcha.
Well, no wonder I haven't liked matcha so far. I remember drinking each morning on an empty stomach the low quality one you just described and it always was bitter and made me gag, but over time made me feel energized and chill. Then I discovered that using just a bit of lukewarm water to dissolve it and adding cold water diminished the bitterness a bit.
Drinking matcha on an empty stomach can damage your body this is why in Japanese tea ceremony we serve food first. Eat something small before drinking matcha.
His whisking is fine. Different teaceremony schools in Japan whisk matcha differently. Thick foam layers are common for the Urasenke school and are widely popular but the Omotesenke school I follow, for example, teaches less foam and a little "lake" without any. The most important thing is no clumps
If you're drinking matcha for health benefits, then combining with cow milk will alter how well your body can absorb the nutrients from the matcha. You can google matcha + milk + polyphenols
This is verifiably untrue. Sugar is not an anti-nutrient. It doesn't react with the antioxidants or anything else in the matcha, your body will still absorb all that. This video does not ever claim to be demonstrating a health drink. Most people drinking matcha lattes are doing if for the taste and/or caffeine, so sugar makes sense.
@@randomgirlxrulz well if you wanna have an unhealthy matcha drink, obviously the sugar is valid.. but the reason why ppl usually have matcha for as a healthy drink.. also sugar can be easily substituted with honey 🤷
