I appreciate the cinematography and the explanation clealy of what cards look like and what abilities do and how turns work. I've seen far too many board game reviews where they just have the box art and they say something like "you have a guy and you can go over here and do a thing and then maybe you take a marker and you put it over here and that gives you a victory point and there so much you can do!" - yes a run on sentence because thats how they talk. I remember a reviewer once talking about the reasons a game might appeal to someone. In the middle of his sentence he said "you know if youuuu like to do stuff and ..." the sentence went on but it made me laugh. I do in fact like to do stuff, so this game must be for me. I don't think they are bad reviewers, I think some of them just have too much shit to review and they spend no time on the review. Of course you can't if you're playing 100 games in a month. Still, I prefer your approach, and i'll always look for review/gameplay videos with good audio and up close views.
Fantastic vid and production value! This game is unbelievable, I picked up the first in trade and late backed rebirth - So good! I hope it gets all the hype in the world.

Congratulations, Tim! My goal this year is simply to play more games. I just had a game night this past weekend for the first time in months, and now I'm reinspired to get people to my table (or my games to someone else's table, haha). Keep up the great work!
This is my Game of the year 2023 after a lot of sessions during Xmas time last year. We need expansions. The train station and lock colours are not fully integrated yet. And we absolutely need more events or just alternate outcomes. This game is so much fun!
Congrats! Love the channel - I play almost exclusively solo due to a lack of fellow players in my area so my goal is to play at least one non solo game of Scythe, Voidfall, Mage Knight & Marvel Champions (plenty of other but I'll go with those 4 for now!) before the end of the year! 🐺

I debated for years to start a channel, always had reasons or excuses of why it won't work or why I shouldn't waste my time. This year I will finally start making a channel and now all I can think is how much time I wasted if only I had started years ago. You just never know how far you can go if you don't try. 1k subs is also my goal, anymore than that would be a pure blessing.
To hopefully receive a copy of Kings of Ruin to play. My first ever Kickstarter/Gamefound pledge and the courier company lost it between Aus and NZ.😢 Was so excited to play it and now gone forever! Big shout out to Meeple Distributors in Aus who are trying to help me out to some sort or resoultion. Aside from that, trying to get my partner to play more games with me. Nice collection...although I thought you would have had more organization in them there shelves. Hehe. Next video? Board game organizing. Doh! I have a collection of 272 games not including expansions. Good part, it’s mostly organized. Bad part, I haven’t played around 20 of these things. Dang it.
In the rulebook it says: "The maximum amount of damage you can sustain without losing a defender is 3 damage tokens. If you take damage and it results in exceeding this maximum of 3 damage tokens, another player must randomly choose a defender from your hand". So basically you guys all killed your defenders earlier then they should be am i right? One more thing @18:01 for example you do not roll a damage die unless you take an action with your organizer starting in the same hex as a mech so she should be able to kill a mech without taking a damage since she was on an adjacent hex.

Congrats! Very recently I just decided to stop buying games that are not 'excellent', meaning that I will not add all the good games to my collection as I have enough of those, I will only consider buying or even backing absolutely amazing games. 🐺🐺
Love your channel Tim! Congrats on 30K! My goal this year is also to play my entire shelf of shame! We counted out 41 games as of January 2024 that were unplayed physically in the collection, and hopefully all of those will get played by the end of the year. I've gotten quite a few new games since then but I'm going to keep trekking to get those original 41 onto the table! 🐺
