I still can't physically remove the PCV filter from inside the engine area. Do you have instructions or a video on that part - the hardest part? Do I need to remove anything other than what's in your video?? thanks
Save some time and money. Use mineral spirits (paint thinner) to remove tar. Pour a bit on a disposable shop towel to saturate the tar and it easily wipes off after 10 seconds or so. Wipe off any smeared tar with a fresh towel and a bit of paint thinner.
ABS plastic is black because carbon black is added. One part of ABS, is styrene, styrene is the weakest part of the formula. I doubt that the whuie areas most likely need to be dyed black.
Just an FYI to anyone doing this, COVER YOUR CAR PAINT if you are going to use higher speeds. Got this all over my mom’s car hood and it left a ton of micro scratches trying to wash it off!
I did this and it worked. Not for other newbies like me, if you have thinner fabric use brush with lighter brisltes. Thanks for the info it really helped.
Nice video. My wife has a 2017 Rogue SUV AWD. I’m new at this CVT engine. Maybe (in the near future) you can show a video of how to change CVT transmission fluid, and Coolant cleaning/flushing.
Thank you so much for making this video! I've used Meguiars PlastX on a light lens today where the transparent plastic was yellow instead of clear and it works exactly like you show in this video and it's very easy to work with too. I've polished by hand and the result is very good in my opinion after polishing the light lens multiple times. I'm definitely going to buy this product again!
Having a simulator problem with my 2004 Mitsubishi endeavor ether it won't come out of park or won't go into park unless you fiddle with the shift linkage or turn off the car start it back up and it will go into park. haven't figured this one our yet but this video gave me some direction to possibly follow.
Thank you, I had a timing belt, water pump replaced 1999 Toyota 4runner 3.4 the mechanic told me it was the oil pump. checked out your video and bingo. Thank you again, again
Thanks for video. i have already replaced the brake switch, and my scanner only detects the Purge valve canister, so i will try fuses next... 08 Ford Escape
Thanks. I was wondering how to approach getting the mechanism out, I have found that it is the little plastic bushings on the handles that cause a large part of the problems. As soon as my window parts and door clips come in, I may try doing a video
" Here's your oral... oil dipstick tube" hahahaa. I have that car. It's great. Runs great no problems at all. Fiat did recall the cooling fan. The new part works wonderful.
My mirror thst is broken just has directional gadget inside to slant mirror. Mirror is cracked can I just remove broken mirror clean the backing plate while still attached wait till it dries than install new mirror over backing plate thst is still attached?
Its a good tutorial video to restore the clarity and shine!! I've used this product in conjunction with a full 3M restoration kit on my badly degraded headlights, The only difference being after buffing with the PlastX i used Maguires clearcoat with added UV protection the best in my opinion, Also after care is most important for Derabilaty, Every time the car been washed i use Turtle wax headlight polish which as UV protection added, A clean micro fibre cloth a drop of polish rubbed on each lens and left for 5min's and buff by hand works wonders, My headlights still looks clear after 2years!!🤔😳🇬🇧👍
