this resort used to be so nice and clean. If the cleaning crew was good rooms would of been in better shape. Most is cosmetic. For instance mirrors and windows not cleaned, or furniture falling apart. Paint all over stuff. Caulk in shower yellow, and hard water stains near the shower frame...
Lol, it depends what age group you are looking for as this hotel tends to be the more mature adults. If you want younger company you can walk to and use all the facilities of the other connected RIU hotels.
If I could advise anyone regarding the Elite club it would be don't waste your money. Unless of course you like your own company. i went there in September last year and there were very few people in the Elite bars/restaurants. Even people who I spoke to who had booked Elite said next time they wouldn't bother. There more than enough choice of food and drink at the main bars. Another tip. Take plenty of $1 bills as you will get even better service if you tip.
They will exchange bottles of alcohol for preferred types, if you ask, for free. I usually trade gin and beer for Courvoisier. You can also switch soft drink types. (But don't forget to tip)
