Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) in TORONTO area, done by Renata Pruszewski who is one of the leading technicians in Canada and worldwide since 2014. She is recognized for natural hairlines and perfect detail that creates amazing results replicating hair follicles to give you the shaven look. You can be assured that the procedures are done in a clean environment with disposable, sterile needles. She trained in US and UK. She attends conventions where she sometimes is a SMP speaker. Renata offers free consultations and spends the time educating her clients and answering all their questions before the procedure. SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION is a process of usually 3 sessions where small amounts of ink are deposited into the scalp to replicate hair follicles. It is a very specialized form of medical / esthetic tattoo. It is a modern solution for balding men, density after hair transplants, anyone with thinning hair, alopecia clients, and to camouflage scars after accidents or surgeries.
Don't forget that the video is done right after the procedure. The skin is a bit red and SMP is much darker. It needs couple weeks to settle down and heal.
Can you pick how many sessions you want? I'm thinking about getting it done but I want it to be light as possible, i just don't think it looks natural when it's darker
Looks exactly like...... a tattoo on the top of this guy's head. What's with the pointed hairline? Dots are way too big and do not blend with the sides at all. You need to match the follicle size and color on the sides with what you create on the top. You can't go double the size and darker and call it good.
@@familyfirst7027 Then explain please. A hair transplant or a hair system/wig covers your head...with hair, which is the point of getting it done. Hair, real or not, covers the shape of your head and shapes your face. Tattooing your head doesn't actually cover the shape of your head, it just says, I'm not really naturally bald, I just choose to cut the hair I don't have like this and be bald. That's pathetic. Just own being bald if you're not actually going to cover your head. Painting your head just makes you look even more insecure about not having hair.
@@scalpamplifiedstudios4930 It looks great. Question: I like this as the end product shows spots of the ink which are exactly great semblances of hair stubs. But I see a lot of jobs online where the scalp is smooth black giving a semblance of a smooth and painted black surface. This concern has held me back. What's the reason for the difference, please?
@@scalpamplifiedstudios4930 Do you have videos of healed treatments done by you as opposed to fresh applications? I'd like to see how the dots pan out after about 2 years.....I don't expect perfection, however, I'd like to see that they don't all fuse and become blurred. That's what is making me hesitate on this procedure.
Touch ups are needed to keep the color of SMP and crispness of the pixels. Everyone fades at a different rate depending on your skin and how you take care of your SMP procedure. Every few years a session is needed to keep it looking fresh
With all due respect to tattoo artists, I have seen many cases that the ink they use fades over time. I prefer to use the hair system. If one day I decide not to use the hair system. I shave my head. I don't worry about a stain on my head.
Some people like hair systems, others like the clean, shaved look with SMP. SMP is very minimal maintenance (just shave, shower and go) you don't have to worry about anything lifting off, skin is not getting irritated, you can swim go on roller coasters, wear a helmet, etc. without worrying about maintenance of hair system . It is also more cost effective in the long run than Hair systems or hair transplants. SMP is a different technique than regular tattoo, so most traditional tattoo artists won't even try to do SMP .
I am a carpenter I can swim I can wear a helmet my life is normal when I learned to use the hair system there is no worry at the end of the day it is each person's decision
The hair follicle will still be grey, even if hair turn grayish/white. So SMP works great at any age with any hair color, as long as it's done properly.
I just had my first session of SMP and was a little disappointed as I was hoping to se a little more definition. I know it’s only the first session and the second session is where the colour really comes out but for the first session I was hoping to see a bit more. Has anyone else felt like this
Hi Grant, I don't believe you're my client, so I can't comment on your 1st session. Density and color comes with layering. SMP is a process and it also depends on your technician's experience and technique.
Hi there! I just got SMP and was wondering what would happen if I just wanted to let it slowly fade. I got a really good job that looks natural, just wondering what would happen if I decided to let it fade naturally over several years. What does that look like?
Thank you for your comment. Hairlines are individual and depending on how comfortable the client is we can lower the hairline on the 2nd or 3rd session. Some clients want the receded look so it's age appropriate and not as noticeable. This is just a 1st session as mentioned in the video and the video done in the middle of the procedure when the client had a break to check the hairline and top. The back bald spot wasn't done yet, and it takes few sessions to complete the SMP process. So, thank you for your comments and please let us know if you would like any more info about the SMP procedure and process.
No, you pay for original procedure which takes few sessions (still a fraction of the cost of hair transplants) and the touch ups every 1-4 years depending on the need and how you take care of them are few hundred.... So the upkeep is actually comparable to haircuts you would get in that time or less.... Hope this helps
it is not for hair growth it is just a tattoo to cover your bald spot. if you are suffering from androgenetic alopecia that is genetically balding than you will have to take finastride pills and apply minoxidil lotion on your scalp you can regrow your hair back , but first visit a dermatologist don't take medicines on your own, also you will have to take this medicine till you want hair once you stop all your hair will fall.
@@harsharora6113 yes, from past 2 months I am taking finastride1mg, Minoxidil 1.25 ml per day , dermaroller once a week and keto shampoo 3 times a week and I have made my existing hair thicker in 2 months with new hair growth, but the new hairs are baby hair so it will take more 4-5 months to see better results.
Yes it's supposed to look feathered at front and subtle so you look natural. I think having a line up is bringing eye straight to head and who has it that short lined up? Thick dark hair razored to the head too?
Hairlines are individual. Depending on the client’s preference. I suggest the soft natural hairline, but it is really up to the client what style they like
This hairline style is called LINE UP. It's client's preference and it is in style now. I agree, it's not for everybody, but every hairline is individual and designed with client's input.
The whole Ontario is on a lockdown. SMP is not essential service so we have to wait until we get a green light to reopen. At this time we offer online/ over the phone consultations to explain the procedure and answer all your questions. Let us know if you are interested INFO@SCALPAMPLIFIED.CA
Hi. Lets take as example ... I do SMP. It passes 1/2/3 years depending on how it still looks and i decide to do a '' touch up ''. It is only done if it really needed ( got it )... But lets suppose that '' it needs' and when its done, for some reason becomes saturated or created a solid block of color. Can i get a SMP laser removal and then do all over again from '' the scratch '' ? In case something goes wrong.. If so, how long it would take to do '' the new '' SMP after the laser removal ?
Touch ups are only done when the original procedure begins to fade. I like to call the "color boost" it is only a single session and not as dense as the original procedure, so it will not become a solid block of color. Most of the time laser removal is not needed to remove the previous procedure, unless it wasn't done properly from the begining. Sometimes my clients come in to check if they need a touch up, but when it still blends well with their hair and is still dark enough we postpone the touch up for another 6-12 months.
