Thank you so much for this information! I am wanting to get into interior design somehow. If I am not ready just yet to go back to school full time, what are some classes I could take to help me assist interior designers to move forward in the field and build experience in the field?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what is being an interior architect like, and what exactly is it (compared to interior design and architecture)? I wanted to change degrees as my university offers a bachelor honours degree in interior architecture but when doing my research, there are still many that confuse it with interior design or simply don’t describe it in much detail.
Hello Adrea, How are you? Please I really need help! I am traditionally rendering a floor plan for my residential interior design class and I need someone's help. I want to draw a step-up to divide the kitchen from the livingroom because I want the kitchen to be tile and the livingroom wood. How do you draw 1 step up to the kitchen? Like a stair step, you know?
I’m trying to get clarity. Don’t you have to be licensed as an architect to be able to call yourself an interior architect? Especially running a business? I want to get my masters in interior architecture and design but isn’t that just becoming an interior designer until I take the ARE and get my licensure?
Hi I'm thinking about pursuing an Interior Design course but I'm not sure which course should I take. Like there are BSc , B.Des and BA in Interior Design . Hi Andrea, beneficial content. I would really appreciate your insight on finding a job in Canada. I am currently pursuing a PG Diploma in Interior design in India. What is the scope of getting a job for a fresher or joining as an intern or a trainee in Canada? What do you suggest for my case? Is there a possibility for a fresher to get a job? If Yes, please suggest any company/ Studio names. Thank you...
I have been watching your videos so much and they are helpful Andrea, so thank you! I know you shared from the online program for a masters in Barcelona, but how about a bachelors? I am in the US and SCAD is in my area but the price is scaring me. I want to pursue this career as I live for interiors, and get a bachelor’s but online would be my route as I depend on working full time have kids and I am almost 34.
There is No age limit for studying any course in life. Am an example for you, after studying a course in Aviation (Flight dispatch and operations control), I started again to study Interior design/architecture at that age 33 and graduated this year April. And it's what I want to pursue to the end
@@equatorinteriors1424 well we are almost on the same boat lol. Thank you for the encouragement, I want to do this and will and want to start asap. Just really considered online first on campus will be hard at the moment.
@@CrucesInteriors OK. For me I never studied online. I went direct to classes physically and still worked in construction industry and have family too. Studying interior design or architecture online is not practical based on the course modules entailed. Online will mostly feed you on theory which you can learn by just reading. I will advise you to take up evening physical classes after work
Hi, specially in the design field so may people pursue this career as a second or third career, I had classmates that were over 40, and to me that was so inspiring that at that age they were pursuing what they really loved. So I think it’s never too late to follow what your heart tells you.
Nice video , do you think it’s too late to study interior design ,am 24 and if I go for diploma I will finish at 26 or at 27 if I go for bachelor ,also not very sure if there is future in Greece to follow this career, but I really like the idea of interior design ,I would appreciate any advice
I started at 29! I’m now 31 and still in my journey of learning and gaining experience.. if you see yourself as a successful interior designer, you will be one day ❤
Hi, I don’t think it’s ever too late, when I studied design I had classmates in their 30’s and 40’s, it’s never late to pursue your passion in my opinion
