I went to one of the sites that offer programs and found Amir Al Arabi’s voice in apk format and I was very happy, but unfortunately I did not find the application. I want your votes. I use it on the Android system, and my blind brothers also want that. We hope you will rethink this project.
Why did you delete your application from the application store on the Android system? This was helpful for blind people to use screen readers. What you did was a grave mistake because you wanted profit.
@hashimalhmaida, we hear you and apologize for the delayed response. We appreciate you sharing how much the ReadSpeaker app meant to you and your concern about its discontinuation. The decision to discontinue the app wasn't taken lightly. As a B2B organization, this allows us to focus on improving our technology and making it available in more apps through partnerships with diverse organizations & associations
Hi! 👋We are currently doing some last QA test and release should be imminent. If you would like to test it please reach out to education@readspeaker.com and we can set up a demo for you. With kind regards, J.
Yes it does 🎉 you can find more information here www.readspeaker.com/education/moodle/ and if you have any additional questions e-mail us at: education@readspeaker.com
Please consider making documentation more accessible to developers. Through implementing webReader for a client I know it's probably hidden behind a login in your portal through a client's login (or implementation details might be hidden within a wizard within a portal behind a login). Some googling turns up a PDF from 2018 where indeed it reads ""Clear implementation instructions are included and available to the customer through the customer portal.", but this info mentioning the info is behind a login is in a PDF which is probably behind a login. :P
Hello Mark, That is indeed not ideal! If you can send us a PM with your contact info we can send you the documentation to easily setup webReader. That way you have it directly and can keep it handy for future implementations. ^Maurice
I have added a plugin from the portal and as per instruction, I have added the customer ID, select language and region code and it says done. So, how we are suppose to test its been done. Will the listen button automatically appear or do we need to add it manually, if yes where can I grab that code to add it? Please help, thanks
Hello Debendra, when signing up with ReadSpeaker you get the correct javascript code you need to implement it sent to you. Please let us know if you've perhaps received it already after you reached out to us. (and managed to get webReader implemented with that) Thank you.
We have a separate solution for PDFs called DocReader. When docReader is implemented in Blackboard it can be used to open the PDFs and let it be read with our text-to-speech. Opening PDFs with docReader can be done by clicking our docReader logo next to the PDF's file name in Blackboard. Find out more about DocReader here: www.readspeaker.com/solutions/text-to-speech-online/readspeaker-docreader/
