I got mine my Junior year of high school, we payed $850 for mine, and while it was really nice (its lost at the moment) I'm not sure it was worth spending all of that.
Yeah whenever you call the son of a gun stew change just a slight order it never gets done it's like any usual f****** company once they get your f****** money you got to go through red tape just to f****** get something done go figure
BUYER BEWARE. This company has NO customer service skills and does nothing for you on any mistakes they make. Their website is very hard to navigate and you will spend alot of time just trying to buy what you want. I spent a fortune on my daughters graduation last year and will be cancelling my son's for 2019 that I am making payments on.
Gold was around $20.00 per ounce from 1792 until 1933 when it jumped up to $35.00 an oz. Gold stayed around $30 to $40 oz until the early 70's when it jumped above $100 oz. It didn't go over $1,000 oz until 2009. Closed today at $1,345 oz.
The cost of Gold as mentioned already, costs just a hair more than it did back in 1968. Furthermore, $75 in 1968 has the same buying power as $555 does today...and that is actually more than the cost of some of the Jostens gold rings.
I got my ring in 2012 too. I wore it for about a week, then I started getting paranoid of someone going after me for the 1000 dollar ring because it attracts peoples attention especially in an airport.
i think it depends on where you live, I've heard some people in other videos saying it was mailed. but a teacher of mine said it would be delivered to my school
Definetly. Its cheaper than silver or gold, charcoal matches everything, and it actually looks cool, not tacky like u expect class rings to look. I got the big men's ring, and people always ask where I got it cuz they want one. They don't even know it's my class ring until I tell them XD Only downside, the part that's thin that doesn't have the gem or engraving is getting real scratched up, so u can see the silvery metal they used as a base DX not that bad really, but still
+Sierra Johnson You got the men's ring?? I love you so much now! I want this exact men's ring so bad, but my mom is putting up a fight. You definitely should put up a video!
Ya. I have big hands compared to other girls so the "girls" version looked terrible on me. My mom actually put up a HUGE fight. For DAYS. She said girls ring or none at all, because she said girls should wear a girls ring, and a boys would look trashy or make people think a boy gave it to me. Basically, I stood my ground, showed her how the two sizes looked on me, and told her how it was my one and only class ring that should totally be me and what I want and what looks good on me to me. She had hers, now it was my turn. My dad backed me up, and she actually posted on Facebook about this and she got a couple responses that agreed with her but a bunch of her friends (mostly dads) agreed with me, and said to her "pick your battles with your daughter there will be more important things to fight about" and "she could want drugs or tattoos or a baby, instead of just a bigger ring." And I eventually won :)
+Demetria Wright Also I actually do intend to put up a couple of videos about beauty and judgement and that might actually be one my other channel is called (The QueenCandyApple) I haven't put any vids up yet bc I'm still getting the hang of editing but they'll be up asap :) [yes there's a space between "the" and "QCA")
Beautiful ring. I happen to run across my original order slip from jostens, class of 1977. I had lost my ring around 1980 and figured it would eventually show up but didn't. I ordered a new one today from jostens, almost exactly like my original except for choosing the silver elite. Btw jostens doesn't keep records past 10 years. Hang on to your original order receipt.
Hey I just wanted to know what material you got your ring made out of. since its in the 400's I assume the Silver Elite or the dual cast gold? Amazing ring by the way. I'm in the class of 2015 as well.
Im graduating 2015 also! I just received my ring from Balfour, Jostens is also a good way to go, i am pleased with the ring i received from Balfour! Glad you enjoy your ring its your only memories
I just got mine on friday the 13th. I also graduate in 2015! I will link a picture of my ring. It's pretty basic and nothing special, but I love it. Link: imgur.com/MJpep0a
Im a freshman and Jostens just came and talked to us about them. We have to have our orders in by the 29th of this month. So we get them for four years instead of two or three.
Why'd you get your ring so early? I also graduate in 2015 but we get them this year (junior year) and this was last year. But beautiful ring! Them came yesterday and I already designed my ring and ready for order day next week!
