Thank you for taking us with you - that was alot of fun watching your adventures! BTW: I went back to your Chicago video & enjoyed every minute (except for the storm you got caught in) My husband & I are going in a few weeks for my birthday, staying at The London House and looking forward to experiencing the Windy City.
Good you were surrounded by other people while getting stuck so nothing to fret especially since help was coming. In the end you got great seats! Also, those waterfront properties are valued at 6 million.
Always impressed with you Jen - wow, that hike!! Sorry the storm, and getting stuck. You handled it great! And yes, thankfully still good people out there, and agree , I love triple A too.
Did you see that Spring gels misrepresented the amount of carbs? Just make sure you know you need to use more of them than it says to get 20-30g in each 30 minutes. I love your videos! Good luck with your training!
An amazing vlog and terrifying night, thank goodness you all weren't harmed. Thank you for showing us how to get through these situations and keep on going. Looking forward to a new car vlog too.
Jen, What brand are your earbuds? Do they really stay on? I have such a hard time because my ear openings are smaller than the smallest coverings. Thanks, Donna
Great video! I sat and crocheted while watching your adventure. I'm sure venues and the performers both try to avoid rescheduling concerts, but not cancelling when the tornado/severe storm warning was announced put everyone's life in danger. That's insane.
What a precious place you stayed at !! So cute. Sorry you got stuck, but glad you had AAA. I have had AAA since I got my drivers license at 16. I am now turning 60 !! That's a lot of years. Thanks for sharing your adventures in Lake Geneva. It is beautiful there !!
We love Lake Geneva! We're about an hour away in IL. I would take our kids and their friends there all summer (middle school and some hs, until they can drive). Have fun!
One of my favs on RU-vid! Thank you for sharing! I would have flipped in that van during that storm. I said it before and I’ll say it again-you empower me to be stronger!! Happy trails!!!
Not that your kids are close to driving age yet but once they are, you can add them onto your AAA account for like pennies on the dollar like hardly anything to add them on just from my mom with two driving children
I agree with you jenn. I’d want a private house on the lake vs one with a public path in the back, just for the ease of mind of peace, quiet and tranquility.
Jen- if you like DMB you HAVE to check out a live phish show sometime. Great music and the best, most welcoming community. Thanks for sharing your trip!
I have enjoyed every single trip you have taken us on. I admire your bravery hiking and camping alone. Yosemite is one of the most magnificent places I have ever gone to and I hope to return again soon. I wish that I was in the shape that you are in and that I could hike. My family and I stayed in one of those Housekeeping camps, one night in a tent the other in that room. I remember my daughter slept in the upper bunk, I don't think I slept, but a few hours. The second night in an actual tent where I heard a bear creeping around. I don't like camping outside so that lodge looked pretty appealing to me. I'm so glad that you found peace and contentment on this trip, I'm glad that even though the painful things were hard, you somehow have come out on the other side. God is good and he's always with you. Happy trails Jen.
I enjoyed your recording and reflection. I'm going for my first YNP trip next week and covering much of the same ground. I was going to skip the thumbnail showing a 90m video, but decided to give it a shot and glad I did. I really liked your raw style and unfiltered commentary. Keep up the good work on the channel!
Jen because of this video, I left Boston for Joshua tree last week stayed for four days in a tiny home and it was an amazing experience, thank you for inspiring me to travel alone on my own adventures! ❤ #lifeafterdivorce
