I’ve been to Doolin 3 times and fell in love with that lovely little village and the wonderful music and people there. Watched this film last night. Was awesome to see Luka Bloom in it! But how could there be no mention of Blackie O’Connell?? ( Amazing player of the Uilleann pipes ). We saw him all three times in Doolin at McGann’s and McDermott’s and he completely blew our minds. He’s unbelievable on those pipes.
Watched this documentary (on Amazon) and loved it! Featured the "folk heroes" and lovingly provided personal portraits of the members of the community. Very much appreciated learning the history of the place and the tradition, while also giving us the feeling of actually being there to experience the vibe of the modern town.
Hey Lila - I ran into a problem with my DVX after snow was kicked up around the body. The camera powers on / records, but the lcd and viewfinder aren't showing an image. Any ideas? Went into top handle carefully once to see if anything had disconnected, was a little weary of getting too far in.
My personal take on this is that she realised R had more growing/maturing to do to become comfortable with who she is as a person, and perhaps felt that was worth waiting for. -inserts cheesy comment about people doing crazy, irrational things for love- ❤️

I don't get it, why doesn't this piece of art have more views? This was by far one of thee most creative, expressive, beautiful stories told through the lense..
