Day in the life of a bar/restaurant/food truck owner. Food Truck Vlog. Restaurant Vlog
Action Sports Bar & Grill and the Action Food Trucks are located in Kent Washington. On our channel will feature Action from the trucks, bar, and restaurant. Cooking, preparing, serving and having a good time. Special events, concerts, private parties, weddings, Seahawks games, and all of the other amazing opportunities that come our way, might make a video. We love the hospitality industry, it's what we do. Our videos will show tips and tricks for those who want to start a food truck business or own a bar & grill. Our videos will also include DITL follows with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, managers and ownership. We are a family owned and family operated small business with an amazing staff, so we will be sure to show off our team. The addition of our new Action Food Trucks will expand catering operations and give us an opportunity to do some much needed feeding ministry within our community.
Just another imperfect believer. A cussing, loving, sinful, saved, fearful, joy-filled follower of Christ! Grateful to a God who loves me, in spite of me. 🥰
Great video. Good job. Good luck. Serious question. I love jerk chicken and Jamaican rice and peas. I've considered doing that as a food truck. But I'm a white guy. Would that be a problem? Would I lack cred as a white guy making Caribbean food? My recipes that I developed myself are solid, but I'm not Caribbean. What do you think?
I am a firm believer that if your product is good then you can overcome any obstacle. When we dabble in a fusion dish or food, we make sure we get the dish foundation from an authentic source.
I love ❤️ how y’all working together as a team , however my concern is how the sauce very little bar b que sauce you put on the frys, remember if you trying to expend loud up on the sauce
Im coming from a brick and mortar. Closed down after 5 years of a horrible landlord. out of those 5 years we failed miserably for 3 of them because 1. we didnt have a real plan and 2. we had the wrong concept (we sell xyz and much more). During covid we actually changed our concept and stuck with one thing. BURGERS!!! We was a success from there doing 6 figures for the last remaining years. NOW~!!! Im in the mobile business with a be=rand new 20ft trailer so I thank you bro for all your videos! Salute
same here bro. Just purchased a new trailer so its going to take 3 months to build. A bit nervous but we came already made from our brick and mortar. I tell you this make sure you understand your town or towns regulation because it seem something different
Pay attention to what he said at 6:27 DONT PANDER TO FOLKS! Know your pice otherwise you will go broke! Have a good product so please perfect your product and charge accordingly! if the product is good people will trust and buy from you. I had a known chef in my area tell me. Im not paying you to eat my food. Facts!
What has been most successful for us is working thru our local Food Truck Association. Also, walking into business with my card, introducing myself, and telling them what we have to offer. You have to get out of your comfort zone and ask for what you want.
I’m not in the food truck industry but I’m confused by employees who get a job and call out half the time. In my employment I call out maybe once every couple of months cuz obviously stuff happens but not THAT frequently. I understand it being disrespectful because you pretty much know they’re just lying and don’t want to go.
The good news is that people who really want to be part of the team show it thru actions. So do the people who really don't want to be. Pay attention and respond quickly to keep putting together a better crew. 😁
@@chefb2606 depends on a lot of factors, cooking equipment is one of those. We are in Seattle, a very expensive market and ours was all done by professional contractors since our owner has no experience building. 30k-75k (used-new) for the box truck. PLUS, 25k-115k (DIY- professional) for the build-out costs. In our market trucks go from 50k-200k. Trailers are about half that.
@actionsportsbar3413 Okay I appreciate you showing love on the information Bro👊🏾 I'm in Detroit Michigan so I've been looking hard for a good builder and truck.
@@chefb2606 happy to help. Don't be afraid to go outside your area for a quality builder. Both of our builds were done out of state (OR & NC). Just do your homework before writing any checks. Best of luck!
we give our fryer oil at least 15 minutes of cool down time while we break down and clean. From there the metal pots with latch tops or even heavy duty clear cambro containers work fine, as long as the oil isn't too hot. Then those containers go into a large tub to prevent major spills.
Im fortunate to have loved ones work with me often on the truck. Also, I'm able to use staff from my restaurant. 2021- late 2023 it was hard finding staff, it is getting much better the last 2 or 3 quarters.
That's a blessing for real. Where I do business 9 out 10 food trucks operate with family members. I have a uphill battle when it comes to this business.
@@8offSpitlER an absolute blessing! Don't be discouraged tho, find young help to work the front so you can stay in the kitchen. HS seniors and college kids are great for the busy season.
Great job bro, I am your brother from another mother , from canada. Love your channel as someone planning to start my own smoke bbq food truck in my city. You are inspiration bro
