still think the SC should've stuck to the the shorter drive diff. The gearing seems too long for 2nd gear on the 3.9 and its falling out of the powerband. if you're set on using the 3.9 bump that rear tire pressure up a bunch and it'll have an easier time spinning the tires.
I get it. I drove my SC with the stock na 2jz for a very long time. I have a factory manual sc300, w58 with the stock 4.08 thats welded. Watching your vids it's weird to see the car struggling to keep the wheels spinning on what's essentially a 2nd gear course. My video is super old but it's essentially a similar course to what's being driven and I kept it in 2nd the entire time. I promise I'm not trying to talk shit I just hate seeing you struggle with the car and I'm trying to help. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FHPbjG_sxiQ.htmlsi=UsbiuVYSPoLhAOTv
Dont know what your reasoning or goals are but going to the 3.9 from the 4.2 isnt gonna be much fun/better for drifting with the NA 2jz motor. Car will be harder to slide since youve essentially made every gear longer.
@@StevieWunderKid Ayeeee good to see you once again! Ive seen you out in the wild a few times too! Idk if you remember the FLRSH upload of "Overslept - Trynna act cool" but I remember you in those comments too! 😂
My 300s been having this same damn problem. Kicking like a horse down the road. Spark plugs and o2 sensors covered in carbon so cross fingers cleaning them will lemme get anywhere tomorrow to pull codes 5spd
Glad y'all fixed it. I know Donut media ran GK tech and didn't run into problems with their 350z and several other RU-vid guys ran the GK tech on their G35 sedan without problems. Hopefully you don't run into anymore problems.
Have you had the ECU recapped? That might be your issue as well. Also if you're interested in an angle kit let me know, I bought the Agile one a while back but going a different direction with my build now. I'll sell you mine for $350 shipped since I like your stuff haha
Yo... I need ya. Just ordered the origin stylish... think that's the kit you got. Did it fit food and was the quality good? Did you install it yourself?
Many many many hours have gone into the fiberglass work on Coopers kit. It did not fit right and was wavy in some spots. Be prepared to make it look good. It’s a lot of work but as you can see the reward is worth it.
Those are Megan Arms right? What were your symptoms of needing replacement? For me when i reverse and turn the wheel i hear a clunk on the left side, im pretty sure its the lower arms since the ball joint is connected to it. I've had a GS all these years and there's 2 different lower arms and a ball joint which is way more complicated oppose to the SC, I just picked up the my SC 6 months ago. I came up so fat. 98 300 black on black with a fresh paint job, 143k clean title 2 owner $3500. Had a few things to take care of, powersteering hose, window motor, outer door handle not working, new radiator. Gotta fix that clunk next and ceramic coat the paint, she's a garage queen. First mod will be clear side markers and some 3 piece 19s The GS x SC combo is so sick just gotta get the maintenance up first
