I create travel-related content, GeoGuessr gameplay and the occasional inspirational (hopefully!) presentation on life or project management. You'll thus find here GeoGuessr gameplays and interactions with pro players, interviews with interesting humans, photography tips, drone footage, keynotes and workshops. Oh and I've been working at Google since 2007 - opinions expressed on this channel are my own!
Hello could I ask you a question Your @ is Sebastian I have really been wanting that @ do you think you can change it You don’t have to but please just respond
Thank's to the english subtitels I was able to follow your trip. Thank you so much. You say, that you write down points of interest like water supplies, road condition etc. Is there an app, where you can leave all of this information? If so, please let me know. I love to support such an app in my neighborhood.
Very nice design for a large bicycle camper. Good space maximization over wheels, including inside space spread over the outer wheel support. Using inside wheel space for storage trunk under bed. Sitting door area over outside wheel diameter is brilliant. Giant opening side door with shade absolutely beautiful and practical. Desk/table space with cutout for head is awesome for table space. Curved roof is good for side winds, for such a high trailer, but those curved solar panels must produce very low output.
I've spent weeks looking at bike trailers. This is the nicest design i've seen. Well done. Do you have any opinions on using a trike vs a quad or standard bicycle?
in the first round you missed two main things: the blue google car does not appear in south africa. there would be a white back of the car. and although the road lines appeared slightly yellow, they were actually white. the south africal lines have a much darker yellow tint. in the second round you also missed two things: the sun was in the south and again the google car, which had a stubby antenna. this antenna exists in ecuador, colombia and mexico.
The blue car does exist in newer coverage in south africa, but in south africa you would see the back of the car and not the front, you can tell if its the front or the back based on if you see an antenna/indent of an antenna (that would be the back of the car) or, like in the round, its a smooth car which would be the front.
Hi, Sebastian! Back here with a new challenge since you seem to be well-travelled: play the World map, but you can only guess where you've been in the world! Maybe shoot for 20k? Good luck!
Thank you very much for your kind words. It'll take a few months and I also know that most people on this planet are less privileged than I am, so whatever work, health and other issues I have, they likely pale in comparison with those experienced by others. And there's always GeoGuessr to "relax" with :).
I think you should apply for the regional playoffs. Even if it's a long shot making it, would be a great video and maybe you could find interview partners.
Just the other day I was wondering too what has happened to you, good that you're back. In Canary Islands you saw old Spanish license plate starting with TF meaning Tenerife province (which La Gomera island is part of). You don't see those much as new EU format plates were introduced in 2000. Where you guessed lake Titicaca, you might want to start checking the compass and try aligning even a bit, even accidental 5k's start to happen and when you have huge body of water directly South of you doesn't make much sense to guess Southmost part of the lake... just sayin' 😀
I have a solar trike setup.. i did a couple things to keep the motor spinning fast and cool. added a Lekkie 30T narrow wide sprocket, keeps motor spinning fast with lower torque.. Added a Rohloff to give more options for Power:gear:speed ratio.. i watch the watts to find the most efficient usage of current. And i go into gear 1, and power level 5 uphills .. This keeps the motor cool. I also carry frozen wet rags, that i put in ziplok bags and freeze over a bottle to the shape of my motor.. If i see a steep hill coming, i place one of the frozen wet rags on the motor before the climb. I never over heat. :). Thanks for he video.
Hi Sebastian, glad to see you're still doing videos 😊 for various reasons I haven't watched in quite a while, though the benefit is that I have a lot of videos to look forward to now 😀
He is homeless, this caravan is a hazard on the road with those dogs is an eyesore, one big wind and it will go flying, and is not a lifestyle you want to encourage or celebrated. That setup has no protection in traffic, what if he gets in accident from the front, his legs are no protection to a speeding truck, who pays , not him. I dont want him camping in front of my house. Its ok for a vacation fantasy maybe but not full time. He is trying to get a free ride from society. get a job pay taxes and get a home and contribute to society not just take. I cant stand homeless, drugs loitering and vagrancy they are city and society killers. At least living in a van or a car he will have a safer vehicle and have licence and insurance.
I cant make fun of ANYONE this week. I was playing a BRC, and insta saw a back yellow plate, and a front white plate facing me. It was round 1, so I goofed around, and picked Tonga & DRC "knowing" it was UK..... except it wasnt, it was France.... and if I spent even 2 seconds more I would have got it.... and got elimmed in R1 on a complete freebie because I thought I was being funny. -26 later, I was pushed from Champion back into Master. So this week (even though this is last weeks video), I dont get to make fun of anyones guesses.
12:30 Maybe a bit biased because I've visited many times, but this is easy Bulgaria to me. Due to the poorer quality, light coloured road; warmer climate vegetation; ridge/mountains to the south which is typical of the northern flat area, the "Danubian Plain", above the Balkan mountains. Plus, these are BG poles (12:47) that were seen all throughout the round. They have alternating bars and pegs, quite distinctive. what can I say it's literally in my DNA lol
There is no reason to make fun of you haha :) I'm aiming for top 100 (83rd currently) and have made some abysmal guesses recently. Went Bhutan on a Chile round _and_ Canada on a New Zealand round 🙃 (to be fair my internet and pc wouldn't load the rounds properly but I'm still failing them lol) (I believe in you Sebastian!!!)
