To be fair to @zacktaylorpb, his partner was making a lot of interesting choices with speed ups below the net. It's hard to battle out points and be consistent when you have a partner who is killing the momentum of points bc of speeding balls up that should be dinked. All the best to you guys - maybe his facial expressions could be better but also, put yourself in his shoes.. it can be frustrating lol
@Switxhed doesn't matter. His feet were in it when he left the ground. Pros get called on this very often going for smashes. If that was how the rules were, players would stand right at the net & jump out of the kitchen as they volley balls. Think of how players would be playing different if that was rule
@@ChanGardeningToolPark his foot is planted outside of the kitchen when he hit it though. its not like he hit it mid air without touching the ground first
@@Switxhed His left foot is in the kitchen when he jumps. He did not establish position outside of the kitchen before he jumps. It is the same ruling as any other sport. Like I said, this exact same fault is called in the PPA a lot.
clearly not my finest moments on court.. however, what you don’t know is that this was my 17th match in two days, and right before this final, both my legs gave out and i had to take a medical timeout for cramping. we were all exhausted! i absolutely love sharing the court with jake and am excited to build on our partnership. and what can i say about drake and roman? they’re the GOATS of capa and it’s always a fun battle every time we get to play. love the support from the crowd whether they root for me or against me. it’s all love. as for you, keep up the good work behind the keyboard. you probably won’t ever be good enough to be in one of these videos, so keep bringing your energy to the comment section. internet trolls are the best :) @VivianGlozmansPartner
Thanks for uploading these! Both teams are solid. Way too many unforced errors in the beginning that build momentum for the winning team. Once the points were constructed, were able to put it away but at that point it was way too deep into the match. It happens to best of us, we all have those games. Overall, the shots weren't falling for the losing team for this game. In another day, the points might've been closer or have a closer game. Making it to the quarterfinals is challenging. Congrats to both teams to making it!
06:40 - Ref was totally wrong. The noob pro did have at least one foot during his service ball contact. She like most refs needs to get her eyes checked.
05:04 - Guy has a death wish running in during an overhead. Even his partner's like (idiot, what are you doing???) No! No! Nooooooo! Is he a pro or a noob?
dude in blue/white needs to stop speeding it up! cause every time he does it, they get killed. Patience and wait for your opponent to make the mistake is the key!
It's a breathing technique from tennis. Annoying it may be, but it helps. You think virtually all the top tennis pros are doing it to be annoying? Come on man...
