I’ll have to wait until I’m around the radio at the next hour, WQLK-HD 1 is kicks96 (Country) HD2 is 101.7 The Point (classic hits) Fun fact WQLK even on FM is by far the Worst sounding station I’ve ever heard it sounds like a 48Kbps MP3 and the HD2 and HD3 Sound like a 32Kbps MP3. I’m not sure what it is but it’s been like that for many years, I’ve tried reporting it to them but they don’t notice it sounds like crap.
Turbo doesn't impact download speeds for the speed tests sadly. I was pulling 1.1Gbps without Turbo and the same speed with it. *This comment is my own and not a reflection of AT&T.*
Guess certain places it doesn’t. I’ve only see turbo effect mid band 5G not 5G+. My mid band almost doubles speeds when turbo is enabled. 5G+ stays the same speed.
Thanks for this video. I have this radio. I believe you missed some radio stations, because you did not stay on station long enough for the HD to lock on. Listener will be denied of the side channels.
Thanks for watching. Some HD stations wouldn’t lock on where I had the antenna at that time due to interference that still exists to this day in my neighborhood that’s gotten a lot worse. Also I like most other RU-vidrs cannot stay on a station for very long or we will get hit with a copyright strike, it’s takes less than 5 seconds of a song to sometimes be flagged as a copyright claim.
Come on Corman!! They were told this would happen according to some other railfans I have talked to, this is still disappointing. I have never seen a derailment as bad as this from them.
They never did give a reason why it derailed but I think it was something to do with this city never cleaning out the storm drains so water was always on them tracks so it may have compromised them. The engines were fine one was on the rear and it waited with its cars up the line and the front engine with the cars that didn’t derail were pulled to Ansonia Ohio. Thank you for the subscription! True but they don't move as fast, so it won't possibly be as bad as East Palestine's issue. I think they go up to 20 MPH on this line. I have seen them go around 35 MPH on the line I live around, I'm at the Spencerville area but it is a straight line.
You will never get fm stations from 100 miles away all the time reliably because of the curvature of the earth and hills in the way of the station. However certain nights and days you can get stations from 100+ miles away during tropospheric events and even stations from hundreds of miles away during E skip events which mainly happen in the summer.
They are really nice radios especially once you update their firmware which is kinda hard to do now since ford pulled the firmware in 2016, now it has to be found randomly online.
There’s just some imaging with this Radio, but it works pretty well. I do love the Florida stations. I have received them in Austin since I also travel to Florida I know some of these.
Hello I’m sorry for the late reply. I personally haven’t had a Sangean 12BT but it looks very nice and looks like it would sound Great having a 2.1 speaker setup but it looks like it lacks HD Radio but I’m not sure if HD Radio is available in India. This HDR-18 is a very nice radio too my only complaint is that it is Mono but that’s just a minor grip. All Sangean’s seem to have excellent reception so that shouldn’t be an issue no matter which model you go with.
@@padmeshsethuraman5617sorry for the late reply, HD does sound a lot better in some cases depending on the station at least around here, HD1 always of course sounds the best but I’ve found 2 stations that sound pretty awful Richmond Indiana’s country Kicks 96 (WQLK 96.1) is by far the worst but that isn’t necessarily the HD’s fault because the analog FM sounds ever so slightly worse. And Indianapolis Indiana’s 99.5 WZPL sounds bad on HD with songs with Heavy Bass, WZPL just really distorts on HD.
@@tyleridle1356Thanks for your reply. Bought HDR-18 for my son last November. We visited him in June /July and was listening to Kiss FM HD almost daily. Excellent sound. Very good looking radio. Reception... No complaints.Well worth the 200CAD plus 13% tax.
