It would have been good if Wuhu Island was on one of the posters in Switch Sports or at least they had some funny posters referencing the Miis. For example, they could have an ad promoting a drink with Matt drinking the drink and it says "Drink this to be THIS" and it just has Matt standing on a mountain.

This island got me through hell and now I just saw it turn to ash. Well, it can only be assumed that this is in fact canon. This must be exactly why Nintendo did not feature even a reference to Wuhu Island in Switch Sports, because it's destroyed. I need Wuhu Island! It got me through being bullied at school and now I need it to survive never even being hugged by a girl and dying a virgin.
