Rick was amazing! I did have the blessing of knowing him for a short time in the re-enactments. He is sorely missed and brought happiness to those who crossed his path. God bless.

It was an absolute pleasure to listen to you fine fellows at Gettysburg when I was a teen. Thank you so much for the memories. We bought a couple volumes. I make it a point every St. Patricks day to listen to the irish music playlist or cd when I have it on hand. While I'm sad for his passing, I'm very happy to have experienced you all in my travels.

Always the best moment at the reenactments was when I saw him and the group perform. He always had the biggest personality and always left me smiling. Thanks for the memories!

He was my teacher in Montgomery County Maryland back in the 70s - Rick was bigger than life and introduced me to theater and performing. How I loved my teacher, my friend, my role model.

When I first got into 'Civil War' music, your band was the one I kept coming back to. Loved the enthusiasm in particular. (I know how painful it is to lose a loved one, but it must be even more so at this time of year. So sorry for your loss.)

I'm so sorry for your loss. Years ago when I was a kid, my Dad happened upon one of your cassettes. He gave it to me and I've had it ever since. Eventually, it was background music when I was studying for my archaeology degree. Thank you for all the memories!

And on June 18, 1864 the CSS Alabama engaged in battle with the Union USS Kearsage off the coast of France. In an hour of heated gunfire the Alabama sank. One of the greatest threats to Union shipping lay at the bottom of the ocean. Valiant sacrifice and gallantry by the crews on both sides, all of them Americans. May God bless their souls, those that do not return from the sea. Thy sleep is eternal. Your memory will not be forgotten.
