The reason so many people hate and don’t do the work is because they don’t think they’re worth it. So many people are living half a life and blaming everyone around them for it, as if we aren’t all born with choice. Factors like capitalism and the isms and phobias that come from it incentivize people to be horrible human beings, so they allow themselves to be led like sheep. Many people are not awake and willfully ignore the fact that they’re not awake. They know they aren’t, they’re incentivized to not care

I left social media bc of how much trauma it has left me. Ppl are weird on there and I had 2 long distance relationships that left me scarred for life in there that makes me wanna check my phone 24/7. I would go back but for what? Honestly I rather just leave it alone n make a RU-vid channel instead. Perhaps my family would follow me on there or not but I’ll just be Lowkey ❤

I actually never got too attached to TT or IG because I prefer YT to entertain me and not TT or IG and maybe it's the people I follow or my algorithm but scrolling isn't really fun to me. Why I stayed on their platforms is because I feel lonely and don't have irl people that I click with so to not feel "invisible", I go on there for social interaction... But the people on there aren't really friends because it seems like they don't really care for you or is only using you to boost themselves...
I'm about to quit fr fr and it's not fun like you said & too much competition & I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that people just watch you and not support you or interact with your posts nowadays...

Girl, I'm so glad I found your channel again! Whenever I tell people I don't want to return to social media they look at me like I'm trying to play life on hard mode (it's significantly less stressful on this side of the pond, mamas). A lot of social media is public self-indulgence, and leaving made me more present, more patient, and take things less personally. Social media was telling me to desire grandeur or an audience (not because I had anything to offer, but because I should feel entitled to attention), and it impacted my relationship with personal aspirations that required me to quietly exist. Leaving gave me time to restructure my outlook/approach to things I actually desire.
