Hi, I'm Chantal and welcome to my RU-vid channel! On this channel I will provide Travel Guides from around the world and helpful tips for your next travel journey!
I have not been on a road trip in FOREVER. Not since I lived on the west coast which was over a decade ago. When I lived on the west coast did get to Arizona and the Grand Canyon but I did not get to Sedona. I also wanted to get to Utah but did not make it here either. How awesome you got to travel here. Loved following along ooo the Coral Pink Sands Park looks incredible. My step family from Paris got to Antelope Canon. And I so wanted to get to Monument Valley. You captured so many great sites, what an amazing trip. Ah yes I remember how Arizona felt so different and other worldly from Seattle or New York. Thanks for sharing your trip with us and just subbed excited to see more. 👍🥰☺
@@ALLIENYC First of all, thank you so much for your nice comment. My time in Utah, Arizona and a part of the state of Nevada was incredible, the nature is beyond beautiful and I'm so glad that I could have experienced this part of the US. I hope you will too one day. Again thank you for the compliment, so lovely!
Hello, thank you for your question. It really depends from where you are flying? The main airport of Puglia is Bari airport and there is also the airport of Brindisi.
Hi, my outfit in Locorotondo is from Flynn Sky, in Polignano a Mare I'm wearing a set from NA-KD, the pink dress in Alberobello is from Zara, in Monopoli I'm wearing a dress from VICI collection and the last pink dress in the wine fields is from House of Harlow by Revolve haha. Have the best time in Puglia it is truly stunning 🥰! If you have more questions about Puglia, I will be happy to answer
Yes, this place is called Torre San’t Andrea. At the end of the video I also show a part of this beautiful place, but during the day. Thank you for the compliment.
Ostuni-Gallipoli-Monopoli-Polignano a Mare-Fasano-Lecce-Brindisi is my favourite triangle in puglia. Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while firmly rooted to their home soil.
Beautiful video !! I've been to Lake Como a long long time ago !! Back in '83 ,I'd forgotten about it due to my horrible experiences in my life & PTS I was not aware of I had even. Nowadays I total remember it ,I had visited Florence as well & Wales ,U.K. .Which was scratched out off of my memories. I'd love to revisit Lake Como someday again !! Thanks for this gorgeous video !! I am vegetarian, btw. Lol. 👍👍😍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇮🇹💕💞
Thank you so much for the beautiful compliment. I’m so sorry to hear that you have experienced something horrible and the effect it left. But really nice to hear that your beautiful memories of your time in Italy, Wales and the U.K. are back. I wish you all the best and who knows maybe some day in the future you will enjoy Lake Como again and have a lovely vegetarian meal looking out over the lake hihi 🌱🍝🌍💕
Hello I love this video. I am planning on my trip to Lake Como. What month is better for travel- September or October? Is it criowded or hot around this time? Thank you
Hi, thank you for your kind words. September is a good month to visit Lake Como. The large tourism crowds will decrease during this month. From October it can be a lot cooler. Lake Como is known for its fairly mild Mediterranean climate, but keep in mind that the weather here can be unpredictable as the lake is surrounded by high mountains. I hope the information is useful and I wish you a beautiful trip! 🇮🇹
We have just one chance to do this vacation because of our age, of course we would like the weather to be good but afraid the crowds might ruin our experience in the summer months . Do you think we should sacrifice more dependable weather for less crowding ? Your thoughts.........Dave and Kim
Hello Dave and Kim, thank you for asking. I can imagine your thoughts about the crowds during the summer months and the fact that you would like to enjoy your time at Lake Como the fullest, here is my advise. Like you said the summer months are crowded, especially the towns of Bellagio and Varenna. Besides the crowds in July and August the weather can also be very hot and humit and because this area is surrounded by mountains and of course many lakes the huminity can resolve into extreme weather with hael and fluds. This year I have visit Lake Como for the first time in the month of May and wow this month is an excelent time to visit! The temperature was between 20 and 25 degrees or 70-77 Fahrenheit and less crowds! I would visit Lake Como again just before or after the high season and I am talking about the period from mid-May to the first week of June or in the month of September and the first week of October. I hope this information is useful and don't hesitate to ask more questions. I may not live in Italy, but I visit this region several times a year and our friends live nearby, which gives me a very good insight into this region. I wish you a fantastic journey and one you will never forget. Kind regards, Chantal
Thanks so much for responding, we really appreciated all your information. We may have more questions later. How many nights do you reccomend staying to take it all in ? We want to see Managgio also. Dave and Kim @@cmytraveljourney
I am Italian and I live near Lake Como. If I may, I suggest you visit this area in late spring or early autumn. These are the best months, little crowds and perfect weather. In the height of summer it is really too hot and full of people. This year the weather was beautiful until mid-October, with sunshine and temperatures up to almost 30 degrees centigrade. Autumn has only been here for a couple of weeks. If I had to give advice I would say May, June and September are the best months. I hope you can come and visit us soon and enjoy your stay to the fullest
@@davemaukmarionohio6582 If it is your first time here, I would recommend to stay at least 5 nights. If you have 4 to 5 full days, you will have enough time to visit Tremezzo, Lenno, Mennagio, Bellagio en Varenna. You can easily visit 2 places in 1 day, because all these places are connected by the ferry.
Almost hard to choose, because all of the towns have there own beautiful sights. One of my favorite is definitely Bellagio. This town is one of a kind, has amazing restaurants like ‘Suisse’, cobblestone streets and of course Villa Melzi D’Eril is stunning!
Villa Balbianello has higher prices also because it's a famous Hollywood movie set. It's Naboo, from Star Wars episode II and the 007 villa in Casinò Royale.
Yes that might be also one of the reasons why Villa del Balbianello is a little more expensive. After visiting you will also notice that this is not just one of the most beautiful villa’s of the lake but this place in its entirety, together with the gardens and view points, is spectacular. Enjoy!
Yes, on average September is a good month to visit the lake. Just keep in mind that it is located between the mountains, so you always have a possibility of weather changes, but that is no different than in the summer months. Have a good trip!
I really love beautiful and peaceful Lake Como. And your video surely makes me want to visit Lake Como even more. Thank you for this nicely produced video!
Having visited both Bellagio and Varenna, I can confidently say that these stunning towns left a lasting impression on me. Bellagio's charm is unparalleled, with its picturesque lakeside promenade, elegant villas, and breathtaking views of Lake Como. Exploring its narrow, cobbled streets and discovering hidden gems was a true delight. Varenna, on the other hand, captured my heart with its serene atmosphere and romantic ambiance. The colorful houses lining the waterfront create a postcard-perfect scene, while the charming cafes and gelaterias offer a taste of authentic Italian indulgence. Don't miss a visit to Villa Monastero and its enchanting gardens-they're a feast for the senses. Both Bellagio and Varenna showcase the beauty of Lake Como in their own unique ways, and I feel truly fortunate to have experienced their magic. These towns are a must-visit for anyone seeking a blend of natural splendor, cultural richness, and pure relaxation. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
I completely agree. It is true that the lake and the associated villages have something magical and a beautiful and unique ambiance. The serenity that can be found here is almost unmatchable. If you visit Lake Como, don't forget that there are multiple beautiful places besides Varenna and Bellagio as well. Bellagio and Varenna are definitely one of my favorites, but can be very busy in high season. Choose your moments carefully or, if you have the chance, visit these villages outside the high season. Be sure to visit the village of Lenno, Tremezzo or the larger village of Mennagio. Walking along the boulevard and looking out over the lake is truly an unforgettable experience. I wish everyone a wonderful time here at the lake.
