I watched this video in hopes to see you install the shifter and the linkage... Got all excited at the very very end it said on the screen installing the shifter linkage and then the video just ended...mine seems to have broke this week ....literally the shifter just moves up and down and is stuck in drive same car Q50 can't find anything online
3.0t My transmission is messed up up I’m mostly gonna pay for somebody to fix is my question is how much would it be to get a brand new transmission if it’s not too bad I won’t buy used and secound is it possible for me to do it myself not a mechanic but I’m thinking about it doing myself so I can learn always wanted to learn more mechanic I do like basic stuff the most difficult thing being I done myself is blow of valve but what do you I should pay for labor or give it a try ?
Excellent video, great work to be able to get thosr angles and lighting while under the car in tbose tight spaces. The only thing missing eould be torque specs. Would be great to also see a trans removal
Would a transmission from a 2015 Q50 AWD work in a 2014 Q50 AWD?? The transmission I’m looking at has 5K miles on it so I want to grab it if it’s compatible I’m just not sure, any input would help. My car was build 9/13 (2014) , The Transmission is from 11/14 (2015 Model Year) thank you so much in advanced!
@@Dirtydan_tv did you have the engine on and running? In drive? We just swapped my bros and hear a squeak unless we over fill it. I’m trying to see if we are doing something wrong
Had a question for you. The rear engine/transmission shield that goes over that mine was dragging so I ripped it off should I get it replaced or is it fine without the shield?

Im getting a transmission swap on mines at the moment my valve body went bad and i found a used transmission for cheap. Do you have to program the valve body to your car after install just curious or will it automatically program to the tcm?
Good Video Daan any issues with DRL not Working ? with this type of LED ? i know in 2018 GM changed the DRL to the Night time DRLLed Strip instead of using the low beam Headlight
