You know when he tells Peter 1 about Gwen, that's Andrew genuinely reliving all the memories of Emma and of losing her, the heartbreak in the words "I'm never gonna be able to forgive myself for that.." sound so real and so raw and gutted....
My Dad died in April of 2020, the last blockbuster movie we watched in theaters opening night was Endgame, this was the first blockbuster movie in theaters i watched after he died.
I can relate to all 3 spider men. There is a person who “Tried” to ruin me, and i got revenge on him (like Tobey maguire hunting down the man who he believed to have killed his uncle Ben) and all I can assure yall is I will tell this to a kid who is going thru emotional depression years from now. BC I did get the revenge I wanted on my former friend that backstabbed me, but it didn’t make anything better for me.
Home Alone 1 Kate : It Was My Fault That Day I Left my Son Before I Got Angry And I Blame Myself We fun Trip To Paris cause I Never Forget Myself Home Alone home Sweet Kate: I Have Flash Back Too it Was My Fault 🤦🏾♀️ I Left My Son Too We Had Fun Trip To Tokyo And I Never Forget Myself and I blame Myself
What a fucking Godsent this whole movie is! Getting to see everyone come back as their villains, except Franco, Grace, and Dehaan. Getting to see Toby and Andrew's spider-man again. And Getting to see all three of them interact
It's an amazing, powerful scene but something that gets me... Peter 3 (Andrew) was never told verbatim "With great power, comes great responsibility", in a non-canon Deleted Scene, he WAS told that phrase by Richard Parker, but he specifically names BEN in this scene as the one saying it. Ben's speech in The Amazing Spider-Man was: "You're a lot like your father, you really are Peter, and that's a good thing! But your father lived by a philosophy, a principle, he believed that if you could do good things for people, you had a moral obligation to do those things! That's what's at stake here, not choice! Responsibility." Yes, it's the same thing at the end of the day, but it's the same runaround that Civil War did with "If you can do the things I can, and you don't, and then bad things happen, they happen because of you."
Honestly when people said it was Peter or Harry’s fault Gwen died well when Peter saved MJ he had a lot more speed to catch her but when she was too far for him to catch
0:35 it sounded like Andrew was gonna say his Aunt May died too. It wouldn’t surprise me if that was what he was going to say, he’s the most tortured out of the three of them.
Makes no sense Tobey's Peter says it was his fault if Uncle Ben died after learning it was Flint and not the other guy he let go who killed Uncle Ben. How was his fault? Maybe cause his uncle was waiting for him outside the wrestling arena? But it was uncle Ben's idea to take him there and go pick him up, Peter wanted to go alone...
The only reason he went to the fight was to win money - and he felt guilty of that in Spider-Man 2. That probably still sticks with him, even though it was an accident
Toby is the eldest father-like brother Andrew is the cool middle child who has alot of regrets Tom is the young neive and green child who is going though the trials the other two overcame
1:57 - 2:14 has never made me cry before. I've seen this video many times and it's never made me cry, but this time it did. I've been such an emotional wreck lately and I don't know why, tearing up at this proves it.
My uncle Ben was killed...it was my fault The night Ben died I hunted down the man who I thought did it, I wanted him dead....I got what I wanted......it didn't make it better Sometimes you need to realize what you want isn't what you need
Seeing tobey accepting the fact that revenge doesn't bring you any peace nor does it make any better was really nice. Also Andrew had a massive shock from Gwen's death which made him a bit different how he was before, meaning a more mature and growing spiderman beside Tobey. I love both of them very much ❤️❤️🕷️🕸️🕷️
I wanted to see the scene where Andrew meant he stopped pulling his punches meaning the scene where he could've killed Harry Osborn. That's the only missing scene, other than everything else, its perfect.
Tobey lost his:Uncle Ben and his best friend Harry Osborn. Andrew lost his:Uncle Ben and his girlfriend Gwen Stacy. Tom Holland Lost:Tony Stark and his Aunt May then his friends forgets him. Spiderman Is the unluckiest person😭
Right after I had my massive back surgery in New York City. And when I was discharged from the hospital 🏥 me and my mom saw this movie. And guys it's okay to comment me back also.
One of the things I realize about this scene is that Tom is looking at both versions of himself, meaning Spider-Man (Andrew, who is considered the best Spider-Man) and Peter Paker ( Tobey, who is regarded as the best Peter Paker).
Funny these clips are actually what I saw in my head when they were talking about their pasts!!! True and long time fans who saw their movies would remember these callbacks
