Mr. Horiuchi has a wonderful voice and his singing is impressive. When I was singing in a male choir with him at university, I asked him how he practiced, but he said, "I just imitate the CDs of famous singers." When we sang his solo backing chorus, his voice was so beautiful that we forgot to sing it.

Tenor- fairly ordinary if not a little weak. The "Marcello" far more authority and I suspect experience, nice tone.

Hmmmmmm, his top notes are good..nice and powerful right through BUT he is singing flat through large chunks of it!?

Beautiful. As good as I have ever heard. Yes, I have listened to the fine recording by Igor Gorin as suggested by @796824 and indeed it is great singing and I like it very much. But I prefer the more robust style of Horiuchi san above.

@lullitube Renato Bruson is like an standart for me, and not because I'm a bariton too. I like his performances (not only voice) more then a lot of others singers.

The baritone was awesome~!! The tenor's diction wasn't good enough, and his power was overwhelmed by the baritone.

I think he likes Renato Bruson.
