Hello, I’m Ryan! This channel used to be my gaming channel. But then I lost interest in doing gaming videos so then I took down my channel for a long period of time. But now it’s a channel where I explore abandoned buildings and closing retailer and stuff like that. Other RU-vidrs who do this have inspired me to do this type of exploration. Hopefully you will join me in this adventure! (FYI: I can cuss a bit so I apologize in advance.)
I love the video. Just be careful going inside buildings, even if they’re abandoned. You can still be charged with breaking and entering if a cop sees you inside, even if you don’t forcefully enter.
Still a great video though! Glad that you showed us the inside, shows what a good creator you are, risking going to a jail for a video is definitely a dedication to your videos 😅😅👍
Thanks! I know the risks but I appreciate you telling me anyways! I was aware of the risks I was taking, I was afraid of an alarm going off when I was in there, but thankfully there was none. I just wanted to get as much footage as I could and then get out of there. I also didn’t want to stay in there because after I heard those bats in the basement, I heard even more wild animal noises coming from the stairwell, and it sounded like it was coming closer. Didn’t want to get attacked or bitten by a wild animal so I decided to get out of there.
Worked there from mid-late 80's. It was hopping Friday/Saturday nights and average during the week. Like many places, prices are too expensive now for what you get so people don't go out as much. Hence closures...
The one waitress that worked at the Horsham location used to shop at Giant. I used to see her from time to time, usually at self checkout. She lived in Quakertown, so she stopped at the Doylestown Giant on her way home I’m guessing. She told me she didn’t like the ones in Quakertown as much
I did not know this closed. Me and my dad were at this burger king a few days after I left giant (around halloween), and was surprised at how old fashioned it was on the inside. Kind of sad to see that it closed.
This is a crazy location. Your right. It was actually going to be a boston market in 2021. But after some work and construction the Boston market never opened in that bk. The boards on top of the building is reminence of construction.
I would have loved to eat here too. I didn’t even know it was here. Granted it’s just about an hour away from where I live, so that’s probably why. I don’t usually go out too far unless I have to, when I’m going to an event, or when I record a video. If I knew about this place, I would have loved to eat here! Last time I had Dennys was in 2016 down in North Carolina.
First I have to say, I really love and enjoy your videos and channel! Keep up the great work! If you're going to do another abandoned restaurant video could you please check out the Perkins in Warminster PA. I know they closed down a few months ago. Thank you!
Hey! Appreciate you telling me about that place! Sadly I don’t think I’m going to upload the footage because when I went there, all the blinds were closed and there was only one window you could see through. Plus it was 90 degrees out so. I didn’t really get much footage of the place as much as I wanted to, so I will have to see if i upload it. There is also a lot of editing I would have to do on the video.
@@DEEZNOTES-bl6ho Yes I work at Target now. I left Giant in the beginning to mid June. Things did not work out, my mental health was spiraling down and I was tired of the mess from the previous nights every time I opened the store. Doing Self Checkout almost everyday was killing me mentally and even sometimes physically. I didn’t want to leave, but nothing was changing, so I made the best decision for myself. Trust me, I didn’t want to make it more difficult for Giant, but I was at the point where I was having a mental breakdown at least once every week. My blood pressure was through the roof, and I would fall asleep mostly every day after work and I could not sleep at night.
@@ryansexplorations3939 I can understand that. When I worked at Giant, I used to work at 6am a lot too especially on your off days, and considering I’m not a morning person, it wasn’t a good experience lol
There was a place right next to the train station called “The Local”, but that closed down years ago. It’s now a restaurant/pub place called Northbound
@@ryansexplorations3939 no problem also the home town diner in Souderton closed in may of this year. Just helping out with different places that have closed lol.
The whole shopping plaza seems so empty now. This regal closed, Applebee's closed, Marshall's moved, Starbucks closed, I feel like Kohls is holding it all up.
I saw this place sitting there everytime I went to the Barnes and noble. They did smash it down to build a Krispy kreme. Bed bath and beyond also closed and took the sign down in the same shopping center
I never knew anybody who was unhappy with their job and was happy with their life. It's your sense of purpose. Now, some people can find it elsewhere. Some people can work a job and find it some place else.
Hey man!! I worked here from December 2022 till they closed February 9th of 2023. The Subaru you saw outside was our manager’s so it wasn’t abandoned just yet. We had a nerf gun tournament the weekend after, fun time!! It’s officially abandoned now. I work in Warrington regal now but I’ll always miss the barn!!!
Actually yes he did! He did inspire me! As well as Dan Bell and Ace’s Adventures! After watching their videos, it has inspired me to do these types of videos, and I love it!
I actually went here a couple times before. The buildings logo was removed and the drive thru was smashed at one point, but recently the building was repainted and thats how it sits now
Former cb/ub resident here. As a parent to an adult son with (severe) autism all I can say is: What he (Ryan) said ⬆️ . It's a privilege to know my son and others I know with ASD, my life is better for it. Anyone who wants to make fun or just harass you for needing to get that off your mind is so not worth your time. Keep at it. Also, I love to have found this channel. It's the last area I lived before moving halfway across the country. 🙏🏽
N95 masks for places like this. Respirator would be safest but maybe make on-site commentary difficult. But you wouldn't believe the things growing in places like the furlong house. Pretty sure I knew this house too.
Is this on RT 611? I know where Furlong Rd. is. Hope you didn’t get any nettles or ticks on you. You might want to check out something not so overgrown. There was an old ski resort further up on RT 611 in Pipersville. It was called Piper Hill & the ski chalet is now the Cactus Grill. Might be some stuff left in back.
Sorry for the late response, I just saw this, but I do not remember which road it’s on exactly. And I appreciate the suggestion, I’ll have to take a look when I can!
It’s not a bad thing. You’re dealing with it. The older I get everybody has something. Don’t waste your time with the ignorant. Do what makes you feel good & what interests you. Lots of places in Bucks to explore. Have fun 👋
