Very listenable, for my tastes- when some of blues, R+B, are an effort to absorb for the voicings and balances. This is very smooth listening. Back to chamber audio when LEDs whacked stage lighting, I'd listen to this production as hitting all 10s in that for which I listen to anything. Amazing high-class sound at that plane, it's an awesome treat; thanks, Boz!
I liked when he was just in Japan in '24 right before they played this, Boz says, "Here's another love song for ya." Ya Boz, here's a love song for you, baby.
How is it, Boz Scaggs, that you are still as sexy as you were 40 some years ago when I was 15 and listening to all your songs on my record player in my grandmother’s spare bedroom?! Just tell me that would you?!
Gorgeous! Boz Scaggs has given my life so much pleasure and joy. This album is stunning. The concerts are delicious!!! And yes, those long handsome longs legs are a bonus. You are phenomenal Boz Scaggs!
The only thing that could make this album any better, would've been a guest solo from Stevie Ray Vaughn! Man, to jam like this at his age, Boz proves he's still got the 70s Magick.
Boz Scaggs is that rare artist, who never lost creative steam across a five decade plus career... a real musician's musician, loved and respected by all his peers. This is fabulous. Live forever Boz!
Much love to you all yours! It's 2023, the worlds people are under attack but, oh Boz your singing voice, tones, the musicians in perfect sync and swinging blues like spreading honey on hot toast...in my body, spirit and soul you reach in and grab hold, feet needing to kick ass, catch every 1/8 beat, twang of that Boz played guitar knees bending, feet turning, twisting arms and body to keep on top of the plethora of awesomeness...I am simply not able to articulate the worthiness even. At 70 and still seriously boogieing...God's medicine for the weary soul when an inner spirit takes the lead, driving movements expressions of love, joy and all possible imagery. Be well and keep on sharing your magic, pied piper for the good in all! We need this never more before.
Thank goodness he finely found a Strat to play on. Get to work Boz 'cause we need more tunes to play on the radio! Since my ex stole my Silk Degrees cassette tape I can't listen to the old stuff without feeling super sad. :(
