First mods on all my bikes are suspension and braking. Öhlins front and rear suspension, brembo calipers and master cylinders, steel braided brake lines, galfer rotors and pads. After that it’s whatever goes.
Bro...honestly you are hard to understand. Try to annunciate more and it would be easier if we could see your face when you talk to help lip read with the sound. Believe it or not, it really does help the brain connect the sounds it's hearing with the words your lips are speaking. Good content otherwise. Keep it up.
@@brianskinner1893 thanks for the feedback Brian. I'll try to improve. English isn't my language and a reason I have switched to voice overs where I can sit, collect my thoughts and then speak. This video is a mix of voice overs and direct recording. Regarding my face. I am just not comfortable being in camera. So that likely won't happen. At the end of the day, I do this for fun. If someone can take away anything from my videos, great.
that bakery at the beginning is owned by a guy who tracks a super duke 1290r and who is friends with that other guy in the pits that day with another 1290r and myself with the yellow zx6r :) will keep an eye out for your r1 mate - i am often in there.
Hope all the best for your daughter man! You are the only youtuber I could find that actually gave good info on setting up camera, and mic so I'm truly thankful for that! Sorry you are going through all of that, but yeah just hope it all works out man. Peace & Love!
I put rode wireless go 2 in my backpack to record the exhaust sound. -30 gain setting but the sound still explodes and crackles (mt-09 akrapovic) Do you have any advice?
Rode aren’t meant to handle high bitrate to recover peaks. They are for made for interviews, voiceovers etc. you will need something like h1n or h2n. I use rode wireless go 2 for videos etc but not for exhaust sound.
@@RenkliPijama you don’t need h4n. It’s huge and not really portable. You will need a backpack to carry it. The form and size factor of h2n is perfect. H4n is over kill. I have zoom h6n that I barely ever use.

You don’t have to. I upgraded because I could and also h2n have different pattern + mic you can choose to record with. Unlike h1n that needs to be placed In a certain direction to pick up the exhaust sound nicely. H2n is bit more versatile. But you don’t have to have h2n. H1n will do the job.
Hey, thank you for this 🙏🏻 very useful, already tested both of them and got pretty good results, just need to adjust a little bit through extra testing. Any advice for night rides?
Don't even ask and there is a high chance you will crack it. But Heat up the outside of the shroud where you out the tape and slowly start lifting corners
Looks great. Where can I get these mirror covers? The original ones by Gilles can not be installed without removing the whole front fairing…. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Great tutorial! One of the most comprehensive I've found :) I believe the H2N has an audio-out jack? I've wondered if wiring it into the GoPro's mic port would be worth it at all?
I am sure you can wire in but I just hate having wires. I have seen a guy crashing on a corner because the cable flapped around and got stuck in his handle bar. So I don’t take any chance with that.
@@brownyonwheels I might test it to see how it works with quality but I imagine that it'll be better independent and just completely nulling the GoPro's audio. If I do, the wire will be threaded up through the jacket so that it can't flap anywhere. Shall see, gotta get the mic first.
@@MotonekoRides I just bought the media mod and the 3.5 cables with this same zoom set up, will test this weekend if wired works. I tried but syncing and editing was a pain for me because of a low performance laptop. Will test and let you know
Best practice is to let the video and audio just record and then clip in editing. If you want to do multiple clips. You will just need to start and stop the recorders. No way around it. What I would advice is to make callouts. Like, Recording 1 (clap clap clap) Recording 2 (clap clap clap) etc.
@@brownyonwheels I figure it out. I let Gopro and audio recorder record the whole time im riding. In post the clips are split but i just line up the audio manually. Your answer is still valid though. Thank you!
