Was valve stem on rim entire time?

Yes. No need to remove valve stem when installing tires.

Where did you get the rim savers
@PFothMotor
@PFothMotor 10 месяцев назад
Well, I'm in Canada, and bought them as well as a lot of stuff from Fortnine.ca. Good products, good prices and quick delivery.

Use less water in your soap. It shouldn't be foaming on the bead. Air bubbles reduce your lubrication. Straight soap or just a few drops of water is all you need in the soap. Do yourself ahuge favor and get some longer bars, 16" minimum. Leverage is your friend.

Thanks for the tips. I was using my motorcycle spoons which are small to pack onto bike. I actually mounted a set for my buddy 2 weekends dry without any lube or spoons.

Those brute Force in those years came with aluminum rims on the higher end models. That is a base model. That's why it has steel rims. Also, your problem is not a stud length. It's you're using the wrong type of wheel nut for the aluminum rim. You should be using an acorn style, not a flat base.

Thanks for the comment but I disagree. Both sets of rims in my video are aluminum. And both center on the hub, not the wheel nuts. That's why the flat wheel nuts are used. The first three years of Brute 750 used acorn nuts on stock aluminum rims. Perhaps aftermarket rims need acorn nuts but these rims require the flat ones.

Hey thanks for comment! I love the sound of that V-Twin! Turns out the Bearclaws 9 in front and 11 in back rub a bit on front skid plate and exhaust heat shield. I just bent them in a bit and no issues now.

Thanks. Usually they go a bit easier but these tires were 8 ply. Stiff side walls
