She's talking shite. A clutch bite test is to put the handbrake on, put the car in second gear, fully lift the the pedal. If the car doesn't stall it's a fail
Good on you for having a go with the unit Jamey. You know where the limits are, can go back to the basics of selling from home, and you a better idea of when the time is right to expand.
As I’m currently trading from home I don’t offer warranty and people buying from facebook and gumtree don’t expect warranty and the car is cheap so yeah basically sold as seen
You need to use cutting compound to polish, Autoglym SRP has no cutting compound in it, for a faded red car, you need proper stuff. Menerza heavy cut compound is like 8 quid a bottle and would have sorted that paintwork out properly 👍
AutoDoc, you can go in and make a return, but only problem is you need to pay return yourself, they only pay youo what you paid when you buy. so you need to think is it word it, or is the return (post) too expensive, how much it will cost to send it back, Maybe you can save it if you get another car there that one fit for it or you can try sell it. But if you ordered the right one and AutoDoc sent the wrong one, look at the part number and on the order you made, then contact AutoDoc, then maaybe you get refunded and they maybe not want the part back or they will pay the return, if they made the faults. I ordered a inner screen to my before Toyota Avensis back wheel, they sent wrong product, i got refunded, and could keep the product.
Every 10k is about right for these engines, cheaper to do regular oil changes rather than leaving it, and have to pay £600 for changing a timing chain.
I found an invoice after I filmed the video it was last serviced 04/04/2024 at 102k miles I just forgot to include it in the video as I found it after it was filmed

I own a 63 plate Vauxhall Corsa which had gunk under the oil filler cap but was told by my mechanic not to worry about it. It is because I only use it for getting to work which is 6 miles there and six miles back. The engine doesn't have time to warm up properly. Your Corsa seems like a fine example. It would be interesting to find out how much you sell it for. Thanks for the video.
I had the same issue with an 04 meriva load's of gunk under the filler cap due to condensation from too many short journeys This can be a sign of head gasket failure but a more sure sign is oil in the coolant or bubbles of water on the dipstick (like the inside of Aero chocolate)😂
Nice video Jamey, thank you. I have subscribed. By the way, do you know that you can get cloth patches for car seats? They are self adhesive, so really easy to use and cheap as well. Would work well next time you get a worn seat.
Thai Fiesta looks really good, especially considering its age. You’ve transformed it, by polishing and cleaning the interior, great video, I enjoyed watching it❤.
Rate the effort you put in especially with the minor repairs and polishing… I was a car trader before becoming a forex trader sold well over 200 cars never did any repairs myself 😂
I bought one of these fiestas about 2 years back. Rear quarter had a bad respray job so tried to help by sanding and polishing it. No service history so serviced it, the pollen filter must have never been changed as it blocked air coming in the cabin. Also got a private plate from it. Think that sold after 2 days advertising on Facebook. Did have a little worry as had a group of eastern Europeans come but were all good
Atleast let us know what the car costs were including bca fees and parts etc? Also what did u end up selling it for and what pre tax profit did u make?
Sorry forgot to include it I won’t the car for £500 with bca fees it came to £758 the car sold for £1400 I paid £33 for the steering column shaft car already has petrol in when I collected it after all deductions I only made £609 profit

Jamey, Always check the engine oil before you start the car for a True Oil Reading or it could be empty & running on the minimum oil as its been started.
Bro you should really be checking the engine fluids before you start the car engine oil, coolant, you know them cars drink oil. I guess everyone does things a little bit different. But very good practice to do so.
That's what I thought look around the car then do the checks under the bonnet then fire the car up never remove an oil cap when the engine is running or radiator for that mater even more dangerous when the engine is hot your likely to scald yourself really bad
