Hello everyone and a warm welcome to my channel, And More Central. Here you will find transport related content from both the virtual world of gaming as well as videos looking at transport in the real world both in the UK and beyond. We have a superb community that I work alongside on our multiplayer livestreams that take place in the virtual world.
I have created a number of projects for OMSI 2 Bus Simulator that you will find here and I continue to work alongside some of the finest developers in helping and testing their projects. In the real world I travel about, testing out new buses, routes and assessing networks from a passenger and industry prospective. I also run my own community bus events group and bring you behind the scenes at events I coordinate and support.
And More Central is a channel where you can be yourself and relax, with regular uploads and group activities, there is something for everyone. So a warm welcome to my channel and I hope you enjoy the uploads!
Liked the video. Interesting tour of the Peak District which shows a good view of what to expect. The bus provision is pretty good too with enough connections to make a viable day out. The sight of the broken lower deck rear window on the East Lancashire bodied double decker at 54.19 on the video is less idyllic though...... Those lambs at Chatsworth have a lot to answer for.
The leather seating scanias are based at Rawmarsh depot fleet numbers 28675 to 8 and the normal seating scanias that were X19 branded 28671 to 4 are still based at Barnsley depot.
since you filmed this the service has settled down i belive in 2027 West Yorkshire buses will come under public control just like here could they do whats happened here with the Marsden services ie revert them back a few years 184 now is on old First Manchester times
I wish there had been better communication - I used to catch the 629 from Frizinghall - and then suddenly the 602 arrives and I let it go by as I didn’t know it was the same route - they needed to advertise the changes better for sure - and yes the printed timetable still say 629
This looks better than the first eclipse 2 that was painted, (BF12KWJ) That one doesn't have the wright logo so the blue section under the windscreen looks oddly empty (in my opinion)
Nice one 👍 Just subscribed. Here in Ipswich we have also had our first bus in the new First Bus corporate livery. Not sure whether I like it or not compared to the current red livery. The first bus that has been painted is a Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse 2. Will be interesting to see what the rest of the fleet will look like. That interior of that Wright eclipse 2 is very different to our ones in Ipswich. Love the fact how it still has the original First Bus moquette. Getting rarer that moquette. The last bus with that moquette at Ipswich is gone now. Stuck with the leather seating. Look forward to watching your further videos. 👍
Whilst I'm so glad to see so many Evoras in Manchester, I think it's just a joke that First repainted the temporary cover for the Evoras into Bee Network livery. There was really no need
Nice to see the ex First/McGills Midland Bluebird scania deckers still out and about, i remember when these were firdt introduced in 2005 for the 27 and 28 routes in Livingston for First Scotland East between Bathgate and Edinburgh.
Not sure if you’re still into Roblox, but recently there is a new bus simulator called Sunshine Islands. The game feels like OMSI, they got realistic dashboard, working buttons and AI passengers.
This hybrid is now 12 years old up in Scotland 🏴 Lothian buses the oldest hybrids we have are 13 plates and they sound more similar to a diesel bus now but they run fine as Lothian buses bought brand new batteries 🔋 for all 10 of them last year theirs 38 14 plate ones and their ok for now but getting worse but their all on the road every day we had 39 of them til last year when bus 11 overheated and went on fire 🔥 but the rest are fine bus 11 was sold for scrap in November last year
The eVoRa’s with stagecoach have the standard MCV seating, I believe first may have specced them slightly differently to match the rest of their fleet which also have the Civic V3’s to allow for easier seat repairs
I like mellors when they are used on the right routes but they aren’t being used on the routes they suit when they get used on the 434 435 436 and 447s where them routes get way way too busy for them they need more e200s at rochdale to run these busier routes (also they are banned from going to bury)
Definitely was first who originally ran it and I remember travelling on it on the W reg mercedes buses, but I thought it was from Bury depot if I remember right not Rochdale (as I wasn't sure there was a depot in my early years) unless they moved the 468/9 from Rochdale to Bury? Definitely know that there was a depot in Bury near the Rock shopping centre, in fact, around 36:24, you were at the site of Bury depot before it became a car showroom
The mellors are definitely my least favourite buses because of the suspension and I love the MCV evoras because the ones on Stagecoach remind me of the 09 plate eclipse that my local bus company Warrington has.
