Welcome to RcAdventurer - Customizing Rc Scale Crawlers, Building Upgrading Painting Trucks Cars Buggies Mini Crawlers. Gettingout on the trails for ACTION!. Instagram @rcadventurer
I have really enjoyed watching your precision custom builds. I am brand new to crawler RC and your videos have inspired me to have a go at a build myself. Thank you.
The high rail looks great not seen one in reali life just online however unfortunately I cant do any more projects currently but that would be a great project 💯💯
Wow that's really nice. How did that car stand up to the test of time? I been wanting an 8th scale rally car for ages and come across your video. The wallets going to get bashing now 😂.. Lovely job dude on the body and Thanks for opening my eyes with the suspension mod and shock tower swap. I never know.. cheers. All the best
Awesome!!!😮 so I want to but the RGT challenger 1/10 RC in the green color they have..but I want to remove the gloss of the shell, how can I do that to make it matte?
If you have a gloss shell and your keeping the same colour you can spray tamiya flat spray on it to make it flat / matt but I would do a test area 1st to check your happy with it, if your changing the colour then you need to sand it all over respray in a flat colour if thats what you mean :)
sure thing it helps the grey stick as the grey paint is not reccomended for that type of body also the flat clear when sprayed on top of the grey makes the grey flat if you want that look and the paint is not flat if that makes sense lol
In this video the body is black do you mean the cutting blade to cut the lines? in other videos I use a black pen for the body lines but not this video as its a black body
Beautiful, that's exactly the body setup I want to put on my Danchee Ridgerock, I just have to figure out how to mount it. I didn't know you can add sound, That's terrific, which system is that?
Very nice, looks smart!! I'm in the midst of doing two rally conversions too, firstly a 1/8 ZD Rally Fiesta being set up for track rallycross (mainly tarmac with some astro' and gentle off-road) with a Peugeot 205 Group B shell, and then an old 1/8 Hyper 7 PBS brushless conversion is having a second lease of life being set up for use at my local off-road track with an Escort Cosworth shell. Can't wait!
the packet its came in is at 14.47min of the video I googled it as I bought these a while ago searching for "cchand trx6 roof lights" and a few came up ali express etc look similar or contact cchand directly also Rcbitz sell there stuff and are very helpful if you email or contact them the part number is on the packet on the video at that time stamp so should be easy to get more if they are not discontinued cheers for checking out the video
Thanks, the interiors are just from Ebay, china suppliers I bought a few of them over the years from random suppliers they are all the same and work great. Thanks
Hey so I finally found a Unimog body. Paid $150 for it but when I found it I jumped on it. I am going to build it in honor of our local fire fighters who fought the Troublesome fires in Grand County (Grand Lake Colorado) I am going to ask them what they would put on the truck and then I will scan the tools and 3D print them. Thanks again RC Adventurer for the idea and direction. Also I plan to scan and 3D print a few of these UniMog 4 Door bodies so people can buy them for a fair price.
Excellent news well done such a shame they are soooo hard to get as they are excellent bodys and great idea to 3D print some as I am sure loads of people will want them. Hope the project goes well enjoy the process!
No probs, both from Ebay the lights from china suppliers lots sell them and a seller in the UK does the number plates on Ebay fast service and ordered a few from him was a while ago just search 1/10 number plates and you will find them good luck with your build :)@@yentlnotable241
Great job and inspiration for me once I will finally buy one. I would spend some evenings doing some cool weathering though. That would finish it completely.
@@rcadventureri found the best trick to use for the tiny bolts is get the little tool that comes with Tech Dech little skateboard and use that it’s so much easier lol
Thank you very much for this. Excellent work! I'll use this method for painting a body when I finally get the guts to do one. Where did you get the body and interior kit? I looked at your links but can't find it. I will want that exact one.
Yes honestly the defender body from traxxas is under ther quality in my opinion, to less Details, too much sticker for that price, with the old Ford bronco they maded a better job
