It depends on the area where I am UE sends you hella far for every order, last night the sent me an offer, $13 for 22 miles, that’s just one example but they are mostly all upside down like that
I respect your opinion, but both delivery drivers are dispatched from a prior order and one could be 5m away (not to mention they have to deal with both sides of the fence with good/bad attitude(s)), from the restaurant and the other could be 2m away. (Possible bad traffic, is a factor etc..). Gotta fight for our drivers, they definitely deserve respect out there..But that’s awesome they both got it done..✅
What market are you in because I get crap pay and now I see that Uber Eats is joined up with the Instacart so if I do an order through Instacart at a restaurant, am I getting paid through Instacart or Uber eats? I’m lucky to get $100 a day man but of course I’ve only been doing it here or there very part-time, but I’ve referred a couple people to the Uber program this week if they could make $200 a day that would be amazing. It’s still an hourly exchange of my time That’s why I only do part time.
Cap. Must be all tip money cuz every offer I get is .85 cents a mile. And if it’s $2 a mile it’s only 3 miles away. And takes 10/15 mins for another shtty order to pop up.
Left my job because I got paid only slightly above minum wage and it was so physically taxing. I'm looking for another but I might just only do part time at a w2 instead of full because I'd still like to keep delivering.
I just started recently and I had to fill up my tank twice or at least $40 in there worked 8 hours and only made $38 today it is very misleading and I think that should be illegal for them to give you a price and it changes on you if they're going to make up the difference later on on your pay or they pay you out differently at the end of the whatever time period they do it that would be different but that's that's it I'm guessing right whatever we got is what we get I mean it's not so bad that when you're wasting all that gas and then here it's at 8:00 and that was the longest trip out of all the stuff you've done I am sure that I am preaching to the choir
Go get a real job that’s 920 before taxes although expenses are more than what you say you drive a sht car 61 hours on minimum wage in Florida will get better pay plus what ever benefits the job gives you ….go learn
I started DoorDash with my dad’s 2005 Chrysler Sebring and I was at the mechanic every month. 15 months and $6,000 later the engine went out and I bought a Prius after 3 weeks of not having a car. So far the car is great but the orders have been lame now when I got a good car 😅
I’ve been using Uber, Lyft and DoorDash about 5 years part time. I know I can make more than a W2 job if I decided to go full time. It’s crazy people doing DoorDash and ridesharing apps can make 100k a year hustling. Honestly, for some of us it’s great not dealing with bad employees and job politics, no longer asking for permission or someone telling you what to do. Sure it’s a lot of work but you go your own pace.
I do uber eats in Eugene Oregon, and some days they offer me nothing but 2-3 dollar orders. not per mile, total (tip included). Those days I usually make about 20-40 bucks in 10 hours, but then ill see other uber eats drivers at a pick that have worse stats then mine and they'll say they've been getting 30-40 dollar offers. Uber sucks
Everyone bashes side hustle apps like they're supposed to be a regalar 40 hr/week job Lmaooooo I QUIT my job in 2021, bought a Moped, and traveled from Georgia to California (moped on my truck) and did UE out there making about $850/week. I fucked off for 8 months just traveling around just because I could 😂 after that I came back home and worked a full time job. I don't regret that freedom I had
200 bucks for under 10 hours isn’t too bad honestly. Until you factor in all the gas and taxes and maintenance. And also the lonely boredom and drained feeling that delivering always eventually leaves you with.
Get two pizza bags. You can fit everything in there. Also drive a convertible lol. I love being able to reach in the backseat to grab Peoples food when I get out of the car. I’ve done over 8000 deliveries over the last 5 1/2 years. People like their food warm. Try to take a picture of your back in the picture when it’s a leave at door. And learn basic car knowledge. Because he is right about your car breaking down a lot.
He’s straight up lying about that 11,000 in 2 months lmao.. Or should I say making it seem that easy.. I DoorDash myself and been doing it for about 1-1/2 years and there’s no way he’s making that unless he’s working like 18hrs a day every day for 2 months straight, then I might believe it. Because you can make a 1,000+ a week if you hustle your ass off and do it in the manner that I stated earlier. But there’s so many doing it now, it’s hard to make a living just dashing. You got old ass people on social security making their little hours that they’re aloud to a week doing it. Then you got the drug dealers using it as a cover up to ride around and sell their dope. Then you got dope heads doing just so they can get their fix. It’s really turning into a shit show here recently. There are many frustrations that come with this job and you better be prepared to be annoyed at times!!
