I can't believe they didn't mention me in this fine documentary. Oh well, i guess there were better drivers than myself in those days. Love to you all out there smelling of WD40.
I can tell you where I was when jfk was taken from the world; my Mum And Dad were combining bodily fluids in Dortmund Army Married Quarters, One room with a curtain deviding off the bed, with 1 year Bro Stevee.... how cool is that?
Guy is special and rotary engines just brilliant, the faster they rev - the harder they pull…..it’s like a warp drive effect compared to piston engines which smack with force early and go slower the further they stretch their legs…
I’m also surprised no mention of Paul Radisich, in a Mondeo , where in 1995 only competing in half a season came 3rd. The only mention was that he gave his car up to Mansel to drive after Mansel had a few smashes learning to drive it.
It did end up to be too much like dodgem cars sadly, if a driver could not get past they just bumped into it to knock it off. Got a bit boring then tbh You can have close exciting racing without that sort of behavior
I don't know Soper or Cleland, but watching this sure looks like Soper had one thing on his mind, and that was to take out Cleland. It's the sort of thing that could make fans turn their back on the series. When points are close and a teammate does this sort of thing the teammate or teammates should suffer the same. So if Soper ends up finishing last his teammates should set one place ahead, the person that gets taken out should keep his position. Then that sort of bs would suddenly stop.
Then it comes to Matt Neil.....he has no room to complain about anyone now does he. Neil should be wining a blue ribbon for being the biggest pig in the slop.
They came to Sonoma California (where I happen to have a fabrication shop) I did some work for a few of the teams, the last year they were here I got a wheel and tire from one of the Chevy teams that I still have to this day as a cherished souvenir!
смотрело больше гораздо челевек если би єти все спортивние канали не били запаролени поспутнику в европпе в восточной европе даже подписку прижелании не купиш, гонка классная номашини люто уродливие
Thank goodness I lived the glory years...stick a fork in the boring crap since 2005, hair gel and social media being more important than the racing for the drivers today....ugh...zzzzz

Yes it is now (after a few tweaks). I recently had to return to the UK to deal with some family matters and have not been working on this project for some months. But i'll get back onto it soon. There's two more tracks built since this video was uploaded and they're also finished. The Mod is actually very close to release. I'll release it on Race Department.
Those two really bad dips and bumps toward the end of the lap ( exit of the corner before and entry of the corner after the Dunlop bridge) have been softened, not completely removed, but made less 'bouncy'. some other minor trackside objects changed, terrain alterations were made, and texture changes. I'll upload a video of the finished track along with the two new tracks
Hello - what is the exact mini mod you are using? BTW, those cars are H-Shifted, and in case you are interested, Crew Chief GTR2 Enhancements Plugin now emulates that :D
Hi It's a Mini Mod I've been developing myself. The cars were originally created for Mini Challenge on GTR2 but i made alterations to the gearbox, engine, and aero. Also the cockpit, wheels, and all the skins. Plus i created tyres which includes a qualifying tyre. The tracks are all my own builds.
Thank you for uploading all 3 parts of this incredible documentary into 1 video, the British Touring Car Championship is still the best motorsport series on television, can’t wait for the 2021 season to start very soon 🏁🙂
You're welcome. I would upload the actual races but that would earn me too many copyright strikes. Round 1 at Thruxton was a welcome back. Race 1 : First day back antics Race 2 : Andy Neate strikes again Race 3 : Wet tyres on dry track, dry tyres on wet track If you're not in the UK or can't access ITVPlayer, then Auto Sport v2 channel uploads race weekend videos, and they can be found on Dailymotion..
@@gtr2racingsim656 ok cool, no need to upload races as I always watch them live on ITV4, I just wish this 3 part documentary will get a dvd release some day 🏁
Hey Shovas. I'm on RD. I'm just fixing some small things and building two more tacks to complete the Mod. Then the plan is to upload it to RD and release it there. It'll have 14 unique tracks, with 20 layouts, and 50 cars with in 36 liveries. The Championship is 26 rounds. Had planned to release it last year but I wasn't doing any GTR2 stuff during Covid lockdown.
@@TEJIEXTREME At the moment the total size for 14 tracks is 1GB. However, I will compress all the .DDS textures and reload them into the map.gtr before the tracks are ZIP ready to release. Release will be done on the Race Department website.
49:00 - even if its true, and I'm sure in some cases (like Harvey Obv) it was true, it's crazy to admit that in private. To put it on a nationally broadcast show is moronic. Even worse is the example it sets to kids. I hate drink driving. Also on the subject of Harvey. He talks of the wreck between Cleland and Soper as what both defined and tarnished his championship. That's weird, I would've thought you're boss getting nailed for importing class a's and them trying to shut the team down before the end of the season as being more tarnishing ;) Thanks for the upload.
"I would've thought you're boss getting nailed for importing class a's and them trying to shut the team down" This is true. Same happened to Paul Newman who bought out Sisley racing, he got banged up for smuggling drugs. (not sure it was class a's though). The drinking thing... different age. Back in the day Hawthorn, Moss, Hunt, all used to have pint before they jumped in the car. But i know what you mean, times have changed, probably best for Harvey to keep that quiet. Next thing ITV 'cancel' him and Toby Moody does the commentary again.
That’s how it was back then, times were much better. Also they raced on a closed course, there are no cops around. If I set up a race on my private property, all the drivers can be completely hammered, it doesn’t matter. As long as nobody leaves my property we can have as much alcohol as we want and then drive around. You also still can have a beer before driving, it won’t bring you over the legal limit. I grew up on motocross tracks, they all are on private property. After races and events it was completely normal to get drunk and have jump and trick contests in the middle of the the night.
