No it isn't. You just don't know what you're doing and flying in bad wind and like a genius probably pull harder when it do causing it to crash. This kite is nothing but stable and flies itself, you just need to let it. It usually comes back up on its own when you leave it be and if not all Yu have to do is let tension off the line and it recovers. If you took the time to give yourself even a basic education instead of being a baby you wouldn't even have to do that because you would know how to read the wind enough to select a proper site. The only thing faulty is yourself.
Hi Viktor, Thanks for dropping by. I bought all the required electronics from the online shop dreamflight.com. I got the kit at the same time. Fly safe and stay safe.
Hi Mar1wan1, I installed INAV for it's safe auto launch feature on this wing. The FC has the same form factor as the Guardian. In INAV you can fine tune all aspects of the wing and way more features available using the configurator. Guardian is a bit lacking in features. The main one being the Auto launch.
@@Mar1wan1 Hi Mar1wan1, you are correct in that I did not use the Guardian at all.In fact I put it back in it's original box and intend to sell it sometimes soon.
@@Mar1wan1 This video is almost 2 years old and at the time this flight controller had it's purpose and basic feature for it's intended use.I got it from www.carbonbird.com. But in today's context I would highly recommend the Matek F4 11WSE. Very small size 28mm x 28mm, lighter at 8.5g and It's got an F4 chip whereas the Airhero F3 is considered " old tech " now or to put it simply, it will have limited support on INAV. This is a great little wing and very capable and practical for transport.I can easily chuck it in the boot of my car and leave it there as it doesn't take a lot of space.I will be installing the Matek F4 11 WSE with INAV and GPS for FPV set up in the coming months. Hope you have a great time with your flying. Stay safe bud.
Hi schmudge, In my opinion ZOHD DART XL is the smoothest wing to fly.A bit tricky to launch. I have crashed it couple of times during launch. Definitely not a speed wing but more like a cruiser.Excellent for FPV and smooth HD videos can be achieved with this wing.Hope this helps. Please watch a couple of other unbiased reviews of the DART XL before committing to it or any other wing for that matter. Thanks again for dropping by.
Based on the music I thought we were about to watch a video of starving children, or animals that lost their habitat. I'm thinking your glider might be a little heavy with all that tape. All you really need is a couple strips of Blenderm to hold the wings in place. A bonus of that tape is that it removes easily without damaging the foam. That way you can keep it in the box when you're not flying.
Hi mate! Do you have the pids for inav 2.0 for this wing? I have some oscillations. Would appreciate it very much. Thank you very much and enjoy flying!
Hi Delacasa93, I do not have the pids and have not flown in a very long time. Will upgrade with a Matek F411 WSE and GPS with latest INAV for and FPV platform in the coming months.
Hi Cenabite, Thanks for dropping by and subscribing. This wing puts a great smile on my face everytime I fly it. I will upgrade it to a Matek F411 WSE and GPS for use as an FPV platform.
I've been a DIE HARD fan of this wing since day one, I've been flying stock for a long time and it's always been a rocket! After 27 rebuilds I fineally lost it in a tree where I left it for morning retrieveal and pooof gone... So I'm building up another as we speak I have the same paris serious and tried to set it up for v tail but (didn't finnish) I have a new cobra 2205 2300 it comes with a 2000 size almost 1806 size motor but I'm not sure, atm. But question is do u recommend the 2205 2300 for the wing? Looks awesome, and also any chance of possibly getting a cli dump for hero 32 as I'm a bit of an iNav noob and really would love to use her on this new super build..? Would appreciate any feedback as I love this wing so much I just want to use my crossfire with solid rth, and the amazing paris. Plus more speed can't hurt 🤔😅👍 Also did you use glue or anything instead of mags for the super g forces? Thanks a million! @zohd_insta love...
Hi Budz, are you running INAV? Where are you stuck with this wing?If you are stuck with INAV settings I suggest Rcgroups INAV forum for fast response. Thanks for dropping by.
Hi Rifa, thank you for watching this video. I got the Dart as a kit and put my own electronics that I had laying around. The prop should always rotate counterclockwise when the the plane's nose is facing you or clockwise if you are looking at it from the tail end. IF you watch the video at the very beginning where I test the prop, you will notice it's rotation. Hope that helps. If you are still unsure, just ask on Rcgroups forum. Thanks for dropping by.
@@aerora0292 oh ok, they also sell the kit, btw i just success on my 3rd attempt to maiden flight, the number mark side must be on front prop position, dart flight is so awesome, thanks
Hi Vince, Thanks for the question and thanks for dropping by. I use INAV mostly for Nav launch(Auto launch) feature. This is very important to me as I had a few near misses in the past when hand launching flying wings. With INAV auto launch, I have no fear of hand launching and quite stable in horizon mode on windy days. I'm not ready for FPV, RTH or long range at this stage.
I got this wing last week. Glued it together and flew it on Saturday in strong winds. Only two points of trim to the Aileron and it flew on rails. Got four flights before the wind won and it hit the deck so hard it bounced 2 metres! The OrangeRx receiver actually came apart. But put the case back together and flew again. Absolutely brilliant little wing and a steal at £50. Just got my EV200D goggles yesterday too so shall be FPVing this wing at the weekend. Everone should get one. :)
Hi Simon, Agree with you.It is easy to repair. Very forgiving plane I would say.I got myself a spare just in case. Can't wait to see the new release from Sonic Modell called the Dart XL.
Nice Im waiting for mine, my setup is ready omnibus f4 v2, running inav 1.9.0, with rth, alt hold, manual, and horizon, auto take off, runcam eagle R9slim and furious fpv 2.4 vtx and furious fpv dockking and module with dvr and hdmi modules, same as my nano gobling. Love you video, you need a smaller receiver the x4r you got there is huge, lol. Did you test rth and the flight modes on you wing, look to me you flew manual all the time. Fantastic video. You wing is rocking side to side, was windy that day?.
Hi Maxun, sorry for very late reply and thanks for the comment. I flew the wing on " Horizon mode". Was testing Autolaunch feature at the time and it was indeed windy. This wing is a winner in all aspect. I have not flown for a while now due to the restrictions in place.
Hi JD, Thanks a lot for dropping by. From time to time I drop by to watch s few of your vids. I noticed that you have the AR Mini on long range. Congrats. Stay safe.Fly safe.
