Sebab aku akan diam dalam rumah Bapa s’panjang masa The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want He maketh me to lie down in green pastures He leadeth me beside the still waters He restoreth my soul He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for Thou art with me Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me He leadeth me beside the still waters He restoreth my soul He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for Thou art with me Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me For I will live in my Father’s house forever.
Wonderful. ..The words were originally written in 1885 as a poem by Swedish pastor Carl Boberg ( after he was caught out in a thunder storm) In 1920's it was translated from Russian by Englishman Stuart K Hine when he was a missionary in Ukraine. ln 1940's he added 2 verses
[Verse 1] We may not see Him, this God who made us. The love and grace we know within are His; We are believers in Christ our Savior, who gave His life a sacrifice for us. [Refrain] Our faith in God will lead us forward, forward in the cause of Christ alone. Believing God will lead us forward, we will put our faith in God alone. [Verse 2] We are His children; God is our Father. May others see the light of Christ in us. He is the pow(He is)-er; (the pow)He is(-er,) the glory. To Him be all the praise forevermore! [Refrain] [Verse 3] Ev'ry eye shall see Him; Ev'ry knee shall bow; Ev'ry tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! [Refrain] [Coda] We will put our faith in God alone, in God alone!
Then sings my soul Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder, Consider all the worlds thy hands have made I see the stars; I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed: Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to thee: How great Thou art! How great Thou art! And when I think, that God His Son not sparing Sent Him to earth, I scarcely can believe, That on the cross, our burden gladly bearing, He gave His life for all the world’s relief. And when draws near the day of my salvation, What happiness, what joy shall fill my heart! When I shall bow in humble adoration, And then proclaim: my God, how great Thou art!
Wonderful, Thanks for sharing. I was led into this by the Hymns for worship's Solo featuring Mr. Zernan Diaz. I was not aware that East Asia has so much talent singing for Jesus. Love you all!
