Chocolate tip: I have been preparing my chocolate for several years. I use my Brod & Taylor proofer set at 115 degrees to melt the cacao butter perfectly. My proofer is mainly used for sourdough bread and preparing Kiefer. Kiefers sweet spot is exactly 75 debrees.
symphylans! Since you started talking about them, I have been trying to look them up to learn more. It’s been crazy difficult to figure out how to spell the word, though…. Google kept sending me to syphilis😄. But I just found the correct spelling and plan on leaning about those nasty little buggers. If you’re looking for a topic to do a video on, that would be a good one. I want to avoid them at all costs based on what I hear you say.
Thanks Nate, I bumped into a female senator a few days ago in the forest when I was out with my dogs, she started shouting at me because she had a spoon with peanut butter on it, get those dogs on leads because I've got peanut butter here, I exchanged a few words and carried on with our walk, its getting proper crazy over here my friend, like levels of total insanity and it just pops up out of nowhere totally unexpected lol.
Re: Fish Amino Acid. I finally decanted the 2 batches that I started back in April. The revised method I used really made the process more manageable (less messy). That is, put everything inside a mesh bag, and then inside a container. I collected over 2 L of FAA.
I won't be growing the Vernisage green tomato again. No flavor, although my chickens have loved them. I also was not impressed with the Honeynut squash. Mine were about half the size of yours. I ended up turning them all into pumpkin pie filling just to use them all up. Good flavor, but just to small for me. Maybe that was my fault.
Slurping drinks doesn’t bother me much But there’s a reason people don’t chew gum while giving speeches and that’s the respect he was talking about. Helps to remember most viewers are using AirPods and every sound is crystal clear. by the way, your clicking is back. Planted my rowing onions and shared the extras with two friends. Keep up the good work.
i get it my friend i just feel the need to make this point.... and yes i am at a total loss for the clicking sound i've literally tried every single thing everyone has suggested and still nothing changes!!
This is exactly how I did my beds. Then I filled them with leaf mulch dirt and horse manure dirt. And I mean , they were both broke down to dirt. My garden thrived! My isles ways I layed down cardboard then the black fabric over the top. It works wonderful for weed control. This is my 3rd year of grown a garden. Best year I've ever had.
Can you make a short for the chocolate and ketchup? You looked a bit sad when you said you didn't grow your own ingredients for the chocolate.... It's okay! For the future
CATS in houseplants: put rocks on top of the soil and anchor pots so they can't tip. I added a decorative railing to my windowsills and I've been known to use doublesided tape or velcro to stick down pots. Cayenne pepper helps too, paste or dry. Water pistols are great for discipline.
Great design for the garden beds. I have used beds very similar (different size) but the wood decayed after only 2 or 3 years. I tried pine as well as oak and both didn't last very long. I have changed to metal raised beds now. I expect to get maybe 6 to 8 years life from the metal beds. The first metal bed that needs replacing I think I will pull the soil up in the middle and replace the metal with concrete blocks. The block width will take up a lot of space around the perimeter but it'll last forever! Already have the metal beds or I would go with concrete blocks now. Take care and I enjoy your videos.
TILL the dirt…BROAD FORK or HOE the soil! Once a LIVING SOIL is established, don’t till and kill( the life web) a non-destructive mild forking of the SOIL ( with additives if needed) is best. Nate, a video with an broad fork- hoe- rototiller- and a patch of 1/2 virgin DIRT and 1/2 worked healthy living SOIL would be wonderful for explanation of the Viking Nation adaptation 😎
For Bermuda grass and growing in a large area I recommend a wide exclusion zone around the parameter of the garden. You can use it as a pathway. Sunbelt weed fabric is good for this.
Yah, it’s likely an IOS Apple issue with RU-vid’s app. I have an iPad and had to use chrome to view RU-vid and then the join button was right there. It was on my android phone RU-vid app too.
NATE The problem with people not being able to sign up to your channel is they probably have IOS , I had to go into Crome😊 and set up to desktop in order to see your join button. I have prime RU-vid and I’m set up with a card also thats not the problem, if your on your apple tablet or phone which is IOS the only thing that works is going to desk top. There is a video on youtube on how to do it , wish RU-vid made it easier for everyone to join . Hope everyone has a great week see you on Monday my friend 🙏🏼👍💜
thank you for the insight my friend and yes i believe you are correct and several people are now telling me this so i'm not sure what we're going to do about it if anything
Good Video!! I'll have to try to write all the next recipes in my poor script, because you appreciate them more this way. I'm old school (86 years old). Thanks for all your great videos and information! In my next life, I'll be gardening the "Nate Way).
So with all the WiFi Bluetooth 12345g radio waves GPS. You stick a copper coil into the ground right next to your plants to pick that crap up an discharge it threw the earth right next to your plants. How is this beneficial in any way
The Brads atomic grape tomato from baker creek is a dud for me half the seeds came out as the parent plants to be honest and the atomic grape tomatoes were all diseased and ant ridden
Try the Habanada pepper instead of that cool a penõ or whatever My container plant only put out a handful of peppers but everyone loved the fruity taste of habenero with out the capsaicin burn
Was super surprised with my Jimmy Nardello peppers as well!!!! Even if you cook them they still have that super sweet taste! I do love my lunch box peppers !!! Hungarian and Latino on my dads side so i do well with raw peppers whoooop
Horseradish roots planted in containers just cant deal with the limited soil space. Dont bother in containers, plus the cabbage worms went to town on the baby leaves
