You should have watched a tutorial on the Beetle Bits system prior to reviewing their product as some of your “issues” with it are not issues at all- you’re just unfamiliar with how some of the parts are meant to be used.
I’m inspired again! I’ll make some for the church Christmas market. What is the square mould in the top left hand corner. Size and manufacturer please. You have progressed so far in your fusing journey since the unboxing video.
Hello thank you for your kind words warm glass do a range of them www.warm-glass.co.uk/collections/moulds-casting-square-moulds. Good luck with your market.
@@confusedglasscreations9375 Thanks. I’m in Oz and didn’t get one of those. Pity that your video didn’t include a photo of the project going into the kiln, then after firing as you opened the kiln. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Hello thank you for watching they were both factory full fuse (fast) make sure you kiln wash the base and sides up to inch or so above kiln shelf. Good luck and enjoy, I am just waiting for mine to cool enough to open.
Thank you for the video 😊😊 I bought this system but now I used it for the first time I'm struggling with how to cut 1cm square as it goes under the ruler. Does anyone know if it's possible with this or have I bought the wrong one? ( Don't think I can send it back now I've used it and chucked away the plastic?)
I watched the vendor video on RU-vid. It showed to use the oil well on the top of the ruler and the other without the mesh on the bottom side of the ruler. That would free up the extra parts. Hope it helps.
I did not read anything about an extractor in instructions only allowing a space around it. We have ours in our internal garage on a table. Enjoy it, and don’t be in a rush to use advance programs the standard 3 do the job well, without surprise unwanted cracks. Good luck. Andy
Any suggestions to not hit the ruler? I see where you commented on how you can't press too hard or you bend the bar and hit it... I can't really get it to cut without a lot of pressure...
I tried this and was disappointed this morning to see that the silver had bled out. The result was messy and not attractive. Brown reaction blobs near the edges. I followed the instructions to the letter but every coaster had the same problem!
Hello I used 2.5mm electrical wire it’s a bit messy in the kiln but strong enough to do the job. The wire out the mouth was a different type of wire. Thank you for watching. Andy
The things you found that could make it a better product are so simple and make so much sense. I hope you wrote them because they are so easy to fix. I need to learn to cut straight glass before I deserve a helper! I would love to get one of these kits but for now it is too expensive for me! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! Fan from Washington State, USA 🇺🇸
Beautiful! I love them both but am extremely enchanted with the windblown tree, that is gorgeous. Good luck at the craft faire, I'm sure you'll do great!
Thanks for sharing your project. They turned out really special. I have just purchased a preloved Skutt Firebox too and can’t wait to set it all up and begin playing. 😊
I remember when Bullseye came out with the reaction stuff. I bought two 10x10 pieces, and then never used them! This reminds me I should find them. They turned out really beautiful. I like how you turned the strips.
I think we all buy things with good intentions and then get sidetracked and loose sight of them in a sea of stuff. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment.
It took 2 of us to lift it up onto the stand as it is quite heavy due to the fire bricks. We levelled it up once in situ, other than the micro switch problem it’s been ok ever since. It’s easy to understand once you get using it.
Really enjoyed watching these videos with copper inclusions I would love to see more videos done with inclusions in Glass using other media such as sand ashes steel wool etc
I’m so new at this, could you please tell me did you put the stringers on the top? How did you layer it? Colored. Tekta, then stringers? Your bowl turned out beautifully for a first go! I have a turquoise circle cut but not sure how to add accents…. Between or on top. Thank you.
