I still think monster hunter not getting a monk/gauntlet type weapon is still one of MH's biggest misses. I mean, i guess we did get a more melee-centric weapon in tonfa, but it was/is locked to Frontier. if the admiral can lift a giant boulder to block an attack, why can't we punch monsters?
Rather than maybe Pistols Change it into dual Crossbows so it doesn't become too advanced but at the same time make some models of the duals more Machine like and give it maybe a camouflage effect so its unique than just a fast moving Bowgun.additionally rather than "Shield" Name it "Great-Shield" so its more different than just a lanceless shield and make it so you can grapple while on a guard mode so you can insta-stun a monster if you hit fast enough additionaly give it a mini-dagger so you can still have a more Ailment option for attacks.
I don’t like the scythes, dual pistols, gauntlets, Japanese warfans, and transforming gun . The scythe is going to be to broken and it could basically be a re skin for dual blades, dual pistols aren’t that realistic enough for the game cuz the caliber of the gun is not big enough to kill dragon and shi, gauntlet I don’t like them cause you might as wel use sword and shield, and Japanese war fans are also not realistic enough for the game and transforming gun could replace light and heavy bow gun so it’s a no the mini gun could be a skin for the heavy bow gen and the rpg is difficult cuz how are you gonna make a rpg out of a dragon but the spear, shield chain blade could work for monster hunter nice recommendation
Simple fix: the sythe is a duel sided sythe that you spin around with the deep wound being a status effect but kills your sharpness because you’re hitting bones In there. You could make the guns duel crossbows, or in my opinion combine the Gauntlets with the duel pistols and have you unload rounds into a monster as you punch them. And we have charge blades, switch axes, gun lances, and a hunting horn that plays music by bludgeoning monsters. Realism was never that games priority. WE HAD TONFAS AND AXEL AXES IN PREVIOUS GAMES. war fans sound amazing. Look at wild hearts with the bladed wagasa. that weapons cool asf and not “realistic” but that doesn’t matter what matters is fun.
i would point out that the prep for hunting a monster left the SECOND you could resupply at base. If you want prep, you need to remove the resupply at base.
In the MHW:IB community, the clutch claw is still a controversial topic. Mainly because it has almost no cooldown on clutching to a monster for a select few weapons. The upgrade to wounding would be great tho.
There are quests that have the beetles and mosquitoes as the target monsters so it's a easier essence farm. Lockon? Nah we don't use that, it'll just break your neck. Gunlance wyrmstake is in the same category as TCS for great sword satisfactory to get off, very punishable at failure but GL doesn't get the roll that GS does so you're fked. As to why safi didn't add blast you, you probably had Moxie from food. On the down slash fire the gun to release all your shells but maximize damage and quick reload if you can't get the wyrmstake off.
as a lance main you were teasing me with that a tier, the lance is so much fun though. Once you get a rhythm down with the monster it's like a mix of boxing and wwe. And just brushing off the monsters biggest attack without flinching is a feeling that cannot be topped.
I could see hammer and gunlance placed a bit higher since on the right builds, they can bully most monsters, but other than that, this is an almost fair tier list
CB is placed fair imo. People who places it in S must be playing in multiplayer cause good luck landing an SAED on any of the late game bosses. There's a chart somewhere proving Savage Axe gameplay is the better choice most of the time in the late stage. At the end, - you'll barely use SAEDs (your fun mechanic) - only be in sns mode to charge - always stay in Savage Axe cause sheathing a CB is a pain in the ass (2nd slowest sheathing weapon) - Have to compensate the clunkiness of the weapon with QOL skills such as focus, evade extender, quick sheath, etc.
LS fair so much Iframes. S&S fair fast and big damage. CB I would put in S tier cause shield frames go brrr and element damage is ridiculous but skill issue ig. Use the gun lance red, I'll personally stun lock you if you don't put it in A tier at the very least.
Ooooooorrrr you could use a Zero duration build max out Range (Without Overextended) Some Efficiency and the rest of the slots pump up Strength (Obviously Archon Flow) and for Helminth Ability use "Empower".
@@REDZMEBOY Try Biting Frost+Icy Avalanche, it makes ur 4th do absolutely everything. If you want a build for spamming ur 4th, you can use Precision Intensify+Molt Augmented, that way u can slot in Overextended for insane range on ur 4th without losing the full armor strip. If u feel like u need too much kills to reach full armor strip, just put one more strength mod, like Augur Secrets. After 60 kills, u got enough strength from Molt Augmented to fully armor strip enemies and u have enough range to freeze the whole room with one cast, and the range helps gain more Overguard from Icy Avalanche augment. It's actually insane, and for maximizing Biting Frost, u can use Tenacious Bond and Vigilante set mods on ur sentinel to make any Primary a red crit machine.
Bit confused by that, mark a time start where it’s shown I’m not doing any damage cause last time I checked in doing damage unless ur referring to the sp circuit where the weapon they gave me I don’t have so I won’t do much damage if I don’t armor strip them
