We've leveraged access to specific supply chains to provide hard to find products at reasonable prices to our community. We've provided janitorial supplies to cleaning companies, consumable products to commercial customers, and general cleaning supplies and PPE to everyone in the Metro Detroit area.
I use this at my work. But my vacuum doesn't have the best suction and will make an airy sound, even when all the filters are clean and replaced. Why does it do this and how do I fix it?
So I have the old Hushtone cordless backpack. I'm looking to replace it but I need battery that last longer than half an hour. The Hushtone battery last for 45 minutes and I have four of them. I hear they have a bigger battery I would like to see it in a video and the proper charger it would need before I buy one.
That battery is a brick!! Stated on the video: adds little weight to the backpack!?, Try like an extra 8-10lb, also the canister is huge!!! You'll look like an astronaut while cleaning!! 😱 Hoover has been out for decades, would think they would be ahead of the game. Companies out there making cordless backpacks with higher cfms, smaller, 15 lb lighter, and easier to find battery replacements. I don't know, I think it's time for Hoover to clean house get some new engineers with innovative ideas 🤣
Are you familiar with the Ryobi 40v battery? Since Hoover is owned by TTi, can they be used interchangeably? The batteries and chargers look identical to one another.
We bought one of these for our large gym. Works great, and saves a ton of time. Love the fact that is uses bags. If you want to use this on a lot of mats, turn it to the low mode. It does great.
Hey Humberto, great question! While this could certainly be used for residential cleaning, backpack vacuums are typically used for commercial purposes because they cover more ground in less time. They also don't typically have an attachment that uses a brushroll/beater bar like traditional upright vacuums. If your house has medium to high pile carpet, it's recommended to use an upright vacuum so that the brushroll can knock dirt and debris loose from the carpets. If your home only has hard flooring surfaces, then this could definitely work for you! Hope this was helpful ~ Jan-Supply
Hi Ralph, apologies for the delay, and am sorry to hear that your units stopped working just 2 months after use. Did you happen to purchase these units from us? If so, we'd love for you to bring them in to have us take a look. If not, ProTeam has a 3 year warranty on parts and labor, 2 years on the motor, and either 1 or 2 years on the battery depending on the 6ah or 12ah. I would recommend reaching out to the company you purchased it from to see about getting a warranty claim filed if possible. Hope this was helpful ~ Jan-Supply
Hey Lars, sorry for the delayed response on our end! An hour of continuous use is pretty standard for cordless commercial vacuums these days. One thing we recommend to customers to get the longest runtime possible is to keep the unit on low power level and switch to hi only when you need it for those high-traffic areas. Hope this was helpful ~ Jan-Supply
Hey Sharleen, thanks for asking! We can sell the vacuum either a la cart or altogether with both batteries included. We actually are in the process of getting the Hoover commercial line of cordless vacuums (both upright and backpack) in-stock, they go by the name of the HVRPWR line. They are priced well below the ProTeam vacuums and work just as well as far as we can tell. We hope this was helpful ~ Jan-Supply
Hi Callum, you could use this vacuum for cleaning out cars. But you may be better off with a traditional shop vacuum. The reason being that shop vacs typically have longer hoses, and you might be able to maneuver into tighter places without the backpack on your back. We hope this helps! 😀
That's a great question! It really depends on the amount of space you need to disinfect. We really like the Victory Innovations brand, unlike some of their competition, their products stand up to the test of time and many uses. The handheld is great for spaces under 3,000 square feet, and the backpack can handle over 20,000 square feet. Hope this helps!
Apologies for the late reply here Bruce! We've never tested this chemical for that purpose, and would probably recommend something dedicated to pet odors. I've personally had great experience with Nature's Miracle, which can be found at a variety of pet stores.
We love the way it looks and feels! Stay tuned for more, we'll be doing some how-to's very soon on electrostatic spraying as well as commercial vacuuming to go along with our other recent upload. Check it out if you haven't already! :)
