Well, another thrilling video! 😰 I mean, the cleaning work it's on normal parameters, well done and well explained, but the search for that cat.... suspenseful, especially when the doggy has barked. In fact, I suspect you ended the video sooner to join the searching party... Two days ago, a friend complained on Facebook that his inferior floor neighbor (a single lady) has exceed the number of twenty cats in her apartment. In no time, another lady vituperated him, accusing the guy of being insentient, hater, bad person etc. She also stated - against someone else's opinion, that you can grow an unlimited number of animals, and it is not illegal (which of course it's not true, except maybe the fleas and lice). I don't know if we descend from some monkeys (or apes), but I think we certainly go that way - and at full speed. 😁

It is amazing the little lorry is preserved - pretty well, I would say, until today. And the same about having memories from 3 y.o, which is fantastic. I got a lot of toys at my 7th birthday, I remember many of them, but 6 years later, as the authorities decided to "modernize" that city area, the house (in fact, the whole neighborhood) was demolished, to make place for the apartment blocks of the socialist era. Almost all of my toys remained there and I suppose were buried by bulldozers. Now I have a collection of virtual photos of those toys in my laptop, as I find them gradually on the internet (some guys naming them "communist toys", lol). Thanks for sharing a little piece of your childhood, have a nice week!
@patricksmodels
@patricksmodels День назад
It's a pity you lost most of your childhood toys, due to grandiose city redevelopment plans. My wife's family lived in a nationalised house at first, until she was 5 years old. It was an old single storey house, shared with other three families, the original owner, an old lady from Basarabia, lived in one of the rooms. In 1982 they moved to a new flat, not far away, and the old house was demolished to make way for a monumental terraced space overlooking the statue of Basarab I and the Curtea Domneasca complex in Curtea de Arges. In the 1990s the land where the house stood was given back to the legitimate heirs, who probably sold it and a low rise building with a shop and a cafe was erected. Tatra trams: one of the many reasons (Smetana, Hašek/Švejk, Prague with its defenestration and Navratilova, Karel Gott, Barrandov studios etc) we love the Czech people. There were also trolleybus variants of this vehicles, Rocar 212E, but those were not quite a big success... (as any other trolleybus - in Romania, at least - I dare to say). I remember when they were in Iași, in winter time especially, it was a nightmare - because of the not very large street and of cars parked near the sidewalk, the trolleybus had to outflank them getting out of its designated trajectory and this way many times pantographs fell off the wire. Add some ice on the street or on the air wires in the winter and you will have a ”gorgeous” view and 15 minutes trip that became a 35-45 one... But the buses were more ok, I think.

Hi, Patrick. An uncool moment, I thought Tamiya cement would do the job (but I never had or work with this product...). Anyway, in this case I would try a tiny drop of super-glue. I'd put a drop on the glossy cardboard then I would grab the lamp and barely touch the drop of super-glue with the flaw part, then quickly put it on its former place and keep it fixed there with my greasy fingers for, lets say, 30 seconds. As you said, some types of plastic do not perform well with super-glue, but if it does, it would spare the car for extra materials added (and if its own plastic sticks so difficult there, I wonder how it will work styrene of copper wire...). It's just an opinion, do not take it as an advice. The little Fiat has a great sentimental value so it is not my place to determine you to do or do not this or that. I hope you will fix it, no matter what method you'll chose.

@@MegaBreadvan Ten years ago father in law had an Aro 10 for a couple of years as a second car for going to the country. He sold it on when they eventually surfaced their road in the village of Aref. I made a test drive video in 2014, I'll edit everything into a single video and publish it.

@@patricksmodels That'll be interesting viewing. Some of the roads around here get large pot holes during the Winter. If I were to hit one at speed in my crappy van, then it'd just smash a MacPherson strut.

Ho intenzione di fare il telaio mancante del vagone letto in balsa, con carrelli Jouef di recupero. La cassa è completa di tutto. I dettagli sottocassa li farò in balsa e con pezzi di recupero da sprue di kit di montaggio.
