A home haunter's guide to making the most out of Halloween! I will show you how to make halloween decorations and props from the super simple to the most elaborate. I will also give tips and ideas for inspiration!
Drywall texture would be great if it's indoors, or you could seal it. Stucco texture is probably even better and would weather the elements better outside. Great ideas!
Curious...if you're concerned about the creases in the fabric, wouldn't a cheap blow dryer do the trick? I have also hung the fabric on an existing curtain rod using basic shower curtain hooks and stretched it out using command hooks for easy removal (only need 4 to 6 depending on the size of the fabric). P.S. AtmosFX has the BEST videos hands down!
Another helpful tip...If you want sound, I use a cheap but decent Bluetooth speaker and a Bluetooth sender/receiver I bought on ebay (my projector isn't Bluetooth enabled). I found a skinny enough speaker that fits between the window itself and the screen, so there's no worry of it being stolen, even if it did, I'd only be out $10.
Curious if you happen to remember what you used for your smaller screen readout? Definitely a lot of options out there. Diving in head first this year so I'm definitely on the green side of prop building.
Go to EBay and look for old headrest displays. The quality isn’t that great, but you don’t need it to be with a screen that small. They are becoming harder to find. You can also look on Amazon for video monitors (I think it’s about 7”).
@@sk8sbowlingreviews Thank you. Yes, but they are technically switches as opposed to mere connectors. So if you search for them (eBay is a good place) look for Allen Bradley switches. Cheers!
What is the projector? Im a little nervous because i went with their tiny viewsonic because i actually dont know anything about projectors. Well I’ll find out next week…☹️Also just heat the shower curtain once. You can do it in the shower by spraying hot water on it a few minutes and no more wrinkles
I'm so glad I found these videos again. The end product was by far one of the best, highest quality home haunts I've ever seen. Seriously impressed with your workmanship and creativity. I can't believe this was 8 years ago now. I still think about this build to this day.
Only Antari Ice 101 video I have seen, which mentions the drain. You mention using either continuous or manual drain. Is there a switch of some sort for this?
Yes, the switch is on the back. I leave it on continuous throughout the halloween night, or weekends I'm running fog. Then, at the end of the night, I just during everything off. When the rest of the ice melts overnight, I use the manual drain to pump the remaining water out.
What a great idea! Would love to try this. Curious about what setting the laser needs to be in for a sweep? Lasers usually are just one beam of light so is there a mode to look out for when buying the laser?
This is one of the coolest effects. Wanted to try this, this year. Didnt realize how many lasers u need and how light containment is a must. Wow...alot of work but totally worth it. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing the process. 🎃 Your garage organization is amazing too....one of my life goals.
Looks amazing, for the eyes are those deodorant balls? I want to build a creep this year and like that look but not sure where to get those eyes. Saw them on a few other videos. Thank you
i just saw this T-Virus canister on Steam but was 3D molde was wondering how to Make out of Resin how i end it here, But UR piece is very cool, real Glass tubing and sleek Aluminum👍🏻👍🏻
I'm curious would candle wax work for this project ? I have a large amount on hand and this would be more convenient and cost effective for me if I could substitute the candle wax for crayon wax.
Can you tell me the size of the crayons, are they Jumbo? I guess you could use any size if you wiegh them right, 2to1? Thanks, enjoyed the video, I won't be using it for the same purpose but it should work for envelope sealing or making faux wax seals for crafts just as well, wouldn't you think? TIA.
The size of the crayons shouldn't matter, because you break them into smaller pieces either way. I don't remember what size I got for this project. Yes--would work great for envelope wax (faux wax) seals. Enjoy!
I'm trying to figure out how to use a video screen and make it look like a widow that looks outside and it's a graveyard with ghost 👻 floating around... So instead of outside looking in. It would be for inside looking out, also if I could make it look like a haunted picture
