I wondered that. The only thing I can think of is maybe the cruise. I had her sitting on a shelf, and maybe when they came in to clean she got something sprayed on her hair a little. She was up high, so if that happened it might be from cleaning the mirror.
That is bizarre - I mean unless she got some sun tan oil on it? Is that possible? But I will tell you Terry - I have had such good luck with all my Blythes (that need it) a simple hair spa using Dawn liquid dish detergent - it really does get the grease out. :D
Hi Terry! I Love Malibu and Malibar! Honestly I think it all depends on the type of hair fibers the doll has. I have several factory Blythes and their hair always looks greasy and I never take them anywhere! 🤣 In your case it could be as simple as she just needs a spa day from being out in the elements, which makes sense to me. I also have a Malibu/Malibar doll and her hair fibers feel a bit textured, not bone straight. That might make a difference it might not. Anyway sorry I couldn't be more help. 🥰

Thanks for sharing Terry Jeanette. I also have thinning hair and also used Rosemary oil. I want to try now Fenugreek it also helps prevent hair loss. I am not sure if it will darken or not your hair. Hope for the best. Have fun and keep the sparkles on. Lovies Yetta💕

I wish I had an answer for you, but personally, I'd rather have dark hair that is thick then light hair that is thinning out, so it sounds like a tradeoff. My hair has gotten darker blonde over the years, and now I go in about 3 times a year (at most) and have partial highlights done so it it lightens my hair back up. I have a hair dresser I can trust, and no, it's not cheap, about $140, not including tips, but considering I don't do it more than 3 times a year, I think it's worth the cost.
Hi Terry Jeanette When you spray it on your roots, or when your hair was darkened years ago from it, did you spray it on between washes? You have beautiful hair. I don’t have any tips, sorry. But find it interesting it darkens hair. I knew it helps regrowth. Have a nice day! Wish I had an answer for you. Someone will! :-)
Thank you, Nancy. I just sprayed it on the roots the night before I wash it. I did a little research on Rosemary, and it does darken hair. Some like to use it when their hair starts to gray, so it makes sense it would darken blonde hair. I've backed down on using it so much, and also using purple shampoo and conditioner. My hair seems to be lightening back up. It will probably take a few months for me to know for sure. Thanks for watching.
