This is unrelated but its a funny thing how some people get annoyed when Tame Impala is labelled "Indie" alongside idk vampire weekend, when Kevin has technically been signed to the same indie label for the past 16 years, while Vampire Weekend has signed to Sony. But yeah we NEED a new album rn.

i think it’s part of being an artist. releasing my first song made me realise that i couldn’t change it anymore and that it no longer belonged to me, it belonged to everyone else which was a strange feeling! although now i realise that, i feel a bit better. i was always so harsh on that song in my own mind :-)
