What is the best machine for making bags or packs with 5 or 6 layers of codura nylon and a couple layers of heavy nylon straps? Maybe some leather reinforcements.
I have the Juki 1541S and I think it is an excellent choice for bag making, however any good domestic is fine for the lining. I have been using the 1541S lately for outdoor covers using heavy duty UV protection canvas type of fabric. I am also now doing some upholstery repairs using a combination of machines. Domestic to patch dog bite holes and industrial to replace entire zipper panel sections and piping. I feel like It took a while to feeling comfortable with the industrial and changing the stitch length to a smaller stitch made a difference in maneuverability. For a while I questioned myself on if the 1541S was the right choice or if maybe I should have gone with a semi-industrial. I now feel confident in my choice, especially since I have some strong domestics that can handle the other stuff.
I just purchased a miyabi long arm with a 12’ frame!!! It will be a couple weeks before I get her. I have sewn on a TL juki 2200 qvp pro virtuoso the last 7 years and I’m so excited!!! Love my juki machines ♥️♥️♥️
Isn't it too complicated to switch from Zigzag to straight stitching? It should be a much more easier operation for professional tailors and garment makers.😢😮😢😢
Hi! I know this is an older video but is there any chance you can tell me if the 654 can chainstitch?? I can find anything online & I’m on the verge of buying it.
Thank you for an excellent instruction video. I have had my JUKI654DEN for a week and was a bit apprehensive about threading it. I was just going to tie the new thread and pull it through…BUT, I figured I would never learn to do it. So, I cut the threads and removed them. Kind of like ripping the bandaid off… By following your directions I actually got it done fairly easily. Now, no more apprehension over threading! Yeah! I started sewing about 70 years ago, (at age 5 or 6 years old) learned on an old Singer treadle machine. So, this is definitely a new adventure for me. Thank you so much ❤
I also own the 2300 Sumato, and up to now, I haven't found any difference to the TL18 (except the needle threader that is not installed to the 2300 when purchased in Europe)
Im sure this has been covered, I have a QVP18 is that correct? Anyways do i need to remove the spring and is there a tutorial for that. Sincerely a JUKI JUNKIES FOLLOWER.
