I'm not sure what you mean, there hasn't been an update for Happy Chaos since last December and I uploaded a video giving updates shortly after it released. If he has changes in the season 4 patch next month I'll do an update video on that too.
Testament feels like an oldschool character where every option is available. Strive simplified so many aspects of pretty much every character to force the faster pace close range style. Faust pole pose, chipp teleports etc.
@@aDTimeGaming yes, after i land curse/non curse charge shot and they plop up in the air. I usually reload cancel and cs 6k 236s but dont know how to close the string towards a good wallbreak
This video uses a lot of common FGC terms. If you are new to fighting games, then I suggest looking through this glossary and at least check out the numpad notation description. glossary.infil.net/ If you have any questions let me know
These are some insanely optimized combos, I'm struggling with the midscreen c.s-2h combo without counterhit with the dash canceled kick into c.s. Do you have any suggestions on learning timings for this kind of thing or is it just something that comes with time? I know easier combos with relatively similar damage, so should I worry about learning this level of optimization if it's a huge struggle? Are these combos considered pretty difficult generally? Just thought I'd ask! Currently trying to break into celestial so it's been pretty crazy
That c.S combo is one of her harder combos and isn't necessary to do, but does significantly more than the other 2 c.S starters I had in the video. If you have one that is more consistent for you and does similar damage there's no reason to push for a small optimization. But with this combo in particular, once you learn the timing for the link from 2H into 5P 214K, you have more time than you think to get the deeper dash 5K dash cancel. At the end of the day a combo is only good if you can land it in matches, so I say give it a little more practice but if you can't get it then don't feel like you need to keep going for it. And most times you'll have a servant on screen to help convert anyways, so it's not super important in my opinion but good to have. I am interested to know what that other c.S 2H combo you have is though if you don't mind sharing.
@@aDTimeGaming Sadly the other combo in question isn't from a raw c.s without counterhit, so your combo is probably the most damaging one off of that particular hit. Thank you for all the info though!
I will be making a combo guide fairly soon (roughly within the next month), but until then the wiki is a great resource for combos www.dustloop.com/w/GGST/Bridget/Combos
i desperately need a new happy chaos matchup guide for the dlc characters (especially johnny). i don't know how to get out of corner when johnny begins looping card toss and mist finer
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ppKRrcGKlcA.html Here's a little video I threw together. Basically dash block 2K on reaction to 5H is the strongest option. Mixing that in with dash jump block out of the corner will make them either over or under commit which you'll be able to take advantage of. At the very least, dash blocking I've found to be very useful against him. Once he has meter there really isn't much you can do, but without it, this is a start. I may do updates to matchup guides, but even then it'd probably be better to wait until the next patch.
For context, I'm trying to learn how to cancel ramlethal's rekka into a WA, so the input is 214p. I've gotten it a few times but I can't figure out what I'm doing right. I'll get the dash but the WA won't input even though the button log says I did it correctly. @@aDTimeGaming
